An interesting and informative tour of the silk making process and its history. It's a beautiful place and there are silk items for purchase. At the end there's a demonstration of how to tell the difference between real silk and man-made imitations.

We had a wonderful tour of the
Silk making process. Very interesting! Special thanks to Toan for showing us around. Her enthusiasm and warm smile made all the difference. Excellent experience. Highly recommended!

It was good to see full process. You have to book a tour. Otherwise you may be be disappointed like someone else here. Tour is free for hotel guests.

Loved this location! We are on a tour throughout Vietnam for 2 weeks and are traveling from the south to the north and Silk Village and it's staff have been nothing short of amazing. The property is spotless.... there are at least 2 pools that are clean and have plenty of chairs. Our room was spacious, clean, had everything we needed in it including an outdoor sitting area plus a huuuuuuge king+ bed!
The staff was extremely helpful with getting us taxis, exchanging currency, and giving us directions. 2 particularly helpful ladies there were Thinh and Linh. They had to be THE most helpful and assertive members of Silk Village. I see both of them as "The face" of Silk Village!

Surprisingly interesting. The tour takes you through many stations with demonstration of the silkworm, the extraction of silk, forming thread, weaving fabric etc.

Wonderful and informative way on how silk is produced the traditional way in Vietnam ! 🇻🇳 as a Parent it’s a great way to educate your kids and let them understand that everything is made from something !

Went just for the silk tour. Great tour and wasn't a lot of walking. Learned alot about the silk worm/moth and also how silk fabric is made. Also they teach you how to tell if your silk is real.
Very friendly staff and a nice little boutique shop.

Amazing tour of the making of mulberry silk! Huong was a great guide and we got to ask so many questions. We also learned how to recognize real silk. The tour is 100.000 vndpp, so around $4 and the lasts about 45min. it’s one of the nicest places we visited in hoi an.

Free mulberry juice is included in your tour price and the coffee at the cafe is also well priced (18.000 vnd for a black coffee).

I think many people deter from going here as they see photos of the resort in google maps - but there is so much more to explore there. the village has a whole area with beautiful, old buildings to explore.

We were initially discouraged by a tailor in Hoi An old town to go here. She stated this village no longer do tours - probably worried we would take our silk purchase here.
In the end I did buy one item as it’s very fairly priced - however unlike the tailor, there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything which we enjoyed:)

We experienced the $24 USD per person (4 hour tour) and we were honestly blown away. Our tour guide (Thu) was so knowledgable, kind and spoke great english. Not only did we get to see everything - but we got to do everything as well (picking the mulberry leaves, chopping them up, feeding the silkworms, spinning the thread from the cocoons, loading the bobbins, weaving on the loom and by hand). She never made us feel rushed and we were the only ones in our tour group. She also took lots of great photos of us and then shared them all on WhatsApp afterwards. We also learned in detail how to tell real silk from fakes. Dinner was also included in the price and the restaurant was quite fancy and the food yummy. We loved the unique mulberry drink that they serve here - it's so good! I can't imagine a better tour than this at any price - and given what we paid for a half day experience that included dinner - I'd say this is one of the greatest travel experience values out there. Highly recommended!

What a lovely tour that really showed how silk is made. The demonstrations were fascinating and somewhat mesmerizing. So glad we visited. Gave me a greater appreciation for my silk pieces!

Very interesting experience if you're interested in silk production and being able to tell real from fake silk.

They give you a tour starting with the silk worm lifecycle, then outline traditional and more modern methods of silk production. Then finish off with a demonstration to teach you how to determine real silk, from cotton, from polyester.

Very interesting, the tour spoke relatively good english but you have to be patient and listen. Ask questions to understand. My family and I love it.

well-designed slightly in oriental style, scented room, charming pool and i love the bathroom area. the reception was so friendly and supportive tho they were kinda overloaded when our group arrived, still see the bright smiles!
bc it's not too close to the crowded ancient town, prob about 2km aways, so it quite peaceful while stayin here.
the buffet dinner aint impressive but i think they do well in terms of concept, from menu to plating to restaurant decoration. same to buffet breakfast, good but not impressive.

Did the silk making tour of 45mins and got a great explanation about where silk comes from, how it's made and how to recognise it. It cost 100.000 vnd per person and included a welcome drink. Would definitely recommend stopping by this place.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, lovely good sized clean pool, nice large airy rooms over 2 levels. No lifts so ask for a ground floor if you've mobility needs. Little historic silk workshop and a range of clothing and accessories for sale.
Great breakfast and really nice evening meals served. Bike loan for free, moped hire can be arranged cheaply. About 15 minutes walk from Hoi An historic centre and 25 minutes walk to the market.

It’s a little oasis on the outskirts of a busy town and a fantastic place to relax.

The rooms are lovely- the bathroom is huge.

The staff are fantastic and I couldn’t ask for more. They have made our stay amazing and I thank them kindly!!

If I find myself in this part of the world again, I wouldn’t have to think twice about staying here.

I highly recommend going here. I had already done a tour in China for silk, but this one was more culturally and historical focused. The tour is worthwhile. Our guide had great English and she was very personable. The staff was friendly, all excellent hosts. They have a restaurant, cafe, and gardens that were also very peaceful places to enjoy with some tea or mulberry juice (that stuff is strong!). Their silk store is also very nice.
