Hoi An Ecotour

We arrived and immediately met the Housebuffalo Xe, which means tractor in Vietnamese. He was very chill and let us pet him, after that we ploughed a waterpatch and planted rice crops. Afterwards we could feed Xe to thank him for his hard work in the field.
After that we left for the house where the owner lived of the Ecotour, he explained how they traditionally process rice and peel them from their outer shell. They had baskets and old fashioned machines to process. Afterwards we went to the kitchen to cook a riceflower pancake with spring onion, shrimp, beef and green-been sprouts. First we were shown an example and after thst we tried for ourselves. They turned out great. Also woman of the house cooked a beef / sesame salad for us and after that we ate a bowl of rice with passion fruit cooked chicken and water melon for desert.
We traded stories after dinner and he showed us his garden.
A very humbling experience and the whole family was very kind to us. I highly recommed everyone to do the wet rice tour. Truly an unique experience! 10/10.

We had a wonderful farm to table experience with Mr Hoang, his family and friends. Half a day cycling through the filds, An agricultural experience like soil preparation, organic fertilization, planting and irrigation and finally the preparation of rice pancakes. Highly recommended experience.

Tour rất thú vị. Sáng được anh Hoàng đón ở quốc lộ rồi bắt đầu di chuyển bằng xe đạp qua các cánh đồng trước khi tới địa điểm. Không gian hội trường mát mẻ, mộc mạc. Trải nghiệm thực tế cày ruồng với trâu. Món ăn ngon, trải nghiệm thú vị, anh chủ thân thiện.
