Cat Tien Villa Hoi An

I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Hoi An again.

We will come back, it's a pity we only stayed for one day.

I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the place, the service, etc. Most of all, I was touched by the hospitality of the Cat Tien’s host.

On the day I stayed, they upgraded me to a room with extra space. I will remember eating bánh mì in the sunshine on the balcony. The best part is that the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the noise.

Staying at this place was more than just finding a gem; it was an authentic embrace of genuine hospitality.
The spotless cleanliness and comforting atmosphere were evident, but what truly touched me was the warmth exuded by my hosts.
They are not just owners; they are genuine souls.
The highlight was undoubtedly when they warmly invited me to join their family lunch during the Lunar New Year.
This experience was way more than just staying at a regular accommodation.
I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a comfy yet welcoming and authentic place.

I booked this place for 4 days, then updated it to 6 days, then 9 days, and as I am writing this, most probably will totally stay here for 11 days. The place is named after their baby daughter, and the owner couple takes care of you just like one. I travel a lot, and rarely write reviews, and if I do, I just give them a rating and move on. But I am so at peace here, I felt it is my duty to write about this place.
About the place- it is very new, maybe a month old. The furniture and everything in the room and the villa is modern, tasteful, and classy. There is a small pool, where you can work or take a dip. The location is great and peaceful. My balcony overlooks the farm and the mountains. The room is spacious, and great for us since we're a working couple. The internet is super-fast.
The food- if you want the owner can cook you meals. She is a great cook. They grow most of their stuff in the land behind the property! Their farm behind has a peacock, lotus flowers, different fruits and herbs, it's lovely.
Anything you need, the owner will take care of it. She's treating us like family. They live downstairs, and we are upstairs. 11/10.

Very lovely homestay! The rooms are very clean and nice, the hostess is literally the sweetest person ever and the location is nice and very quiet. They also have bikes you can use for free, so the distance to the old town and the beach is no problem at all.

This is the best place we’ve been to in Vietnam… and we’ve stayed at some expensive top of the line accommodations!

+ super clean, very tidy place. No smashed mosquitoes on walls or so, the rooms are literally just furnished/painted!

+ bicycle’s are for free - and they work like they are brand new!!

Here’s our experience at this awesome homestay:
My wife and i had planned to only stay for a night and then move somewhere closer to the beach for a couple of days. We arrived at 2:30 AM and the host (Kieu) was up to welcome us. She was very nice and happy to help. She asked if we had plans for the next day, and we originally wanted to go to My Son - she offered that her husband could take us there. however we told her we preferred to go by scooter. next morning Kieu asked us if we wanted Banh Mi for breakfast (20k) which she got us within 5 minutes from around the corner. She served it with freshly cut fruits which was really kind! I told her that we wanted to check out and go somewhere into the downtown area (we had not been there yet) and she told me we can also use the bicycles for free and downtown area is close by. So we decided to save time and just stay. The bike ride really only takes about 5-10 minutes downtown, and 15 minutes to the beach.

The next day we rented a scooter from her to travel to My Son (40km distance). She gave us a good motorcycle and helmets with visors, which was really great because it’s much easier on the eyes when driving such a long distance.

Another thing to mention: We had initially only planned to stay 2 nights in Hoi An, but because it was Tet festival, all buses, trains and even planes to the south were fully booked out. We desperately went to several agencies and checked on 12go.asia and the only options were 8-13 million to go to Ho Chi Minh City after 4 days! Then we asked Kieu if she could help us, and she was able to book us tickets for 4 million after two days. We were so grateful that our travel itinerary didn’t get too messed up thanks to her!!!

On our last day, she took us to the market for hours to buy some clothes because she knew cheaper places than the touristic ones. This morning she also cooked breakfast for us which was really yummy!

So when we finally took our bus to continue on our trip we were sad to leave because this place and our host’s incredible hospitality had made our stay in Hoi An our best stay in all of Vietnam! And this includes a house boat in Lang Ha bay and several top of the line fancy accommodations! Thank you!!!!!

Je suis ravie de partager mon retour d'expérience à Cat Tien Villa, la merveilleuse maison d'hôtes où je loge à Hoi An.
Travaillant à distance, j’ai besoin d’un endroit calme et lumineux, et ici tout est réuni, et même plus ! J'ai trouvé dans ce logement bien plus que ce que j’espérais.
La villa incarne la modernité, la propreté, et la luminosité qu’on a parfois du mal à trouver dans les logements du Vietnam. Les propriétaires sont un merveilleux couple de trentenaires, Kieu et Bo, et ils ont une rigolote petite fille de 3 ans.
Après avoir passé un mois ici, et comme j’ai encore plusieurs semaines avant de rentrer en France, j’ai décidé de prolonger mon séjour ici pour un mois supplémentaire !

Le couple accorde une importance toute particulière à la propreté de chaque recoin de la maison. La maison est récente et tellement bien entretenue.
En rentrant on arrive d’abord sur la piscine qui est, elle aussi, d'une propreté irréprochable, et qui est vraiment très agréable pour se rafraîchir quand il fait chaud.
Au rez-de-chaussée, j’apprécie toujours la luminosité du salon et le marbre blanc au sol. La cuisine est moderne et équipée de tout le nécessaire. Je ne cuisine pas vraiment mais Kieu m’a montré plusieurs recettes et aussi invité plusieurs fois à partager leur repas. Je l’ai aussi accompagnée plusieurs fois faire des courses au marché, et ce sont vraiment des moments uniques.
J'ai aussi eu le grand bonheur de passer les fêtes du Têt avec eux, et avec toute leur famille. Ils me donnent l’occasion de découvrir leur mode de vie et leurs traditions ; leur chaleur et leur sourire sont omniprésents.

Les chambres à l’étage sont aussi vraiment très très bien, neuves, spacieuses, toutes avec balcon, armoire, un long bureau avec plusieurs tiroirs, un petit frigo aussi, vraiment tout ce qu’il faut pour ranger les affaires et être confortable. Dans chaque chambre il y a aussi le nécessaire pour se faire du thé ou café avec une bouilloire, et ils m’ont aussi gentiment mis à disposition une cafetière vietnamienne. Les salles de bain sont aussi très neuves et modernes comme le reste de la maison, et bien sûr la literie est confortable !!
Le robinet d’eau potable dans la cuisine est très appréciable, ça me permet de continuer à utiliser ma gourde et de limiter l’achat de bouteilles d’eau en plastique.

A l’arrière de la maison il y a un jardin très agréable, et un potager où la famille fait pousser fruits et légumes. C’est aussi dans le jardin qu’ils m’ont invité plusieurs fois à partager un barbecue avec eux !
Je peux aussi utiliser la machine à laver ; le rooftop est génial pour étendre le linge et il y a une vue magnifique sur les champs et la nature.
Je suis tellement ravie d’avoir découvert cet endroit, c’est un équilibre parfait entre le bonheur de partager des moments de convivialité avec la famille, tout en ayant la possibilité d'être seule et au calme dans ma chambre, le wifi est parfait pour les nécessités de mon job à distance. Et même si la famille est présente dans la maison, ils sont extrêmement respectueux de mon intimité et de mon espace.

La maison a été ouverte récemment pour accueillir ses premiers clients, et ils font vraiment tout pour qu’on se sente à l’aise. Ils ont de bons conseils sur les activités pour découvrir Hoi An et ses alentours. La villa est dans une position géographique stratégique puisque très proche de tout, que ce soit la plage, les rizières ou le centre historique, il y a des vélos neufs mis gratuitement à disposition, ou bien la location de scooters.
Si vous lisez ce commentaire parce que vous cherchez un logement sur Hoi An, vous pouvez vraiment réserver ici les yeux fermés. Depuis un mois que je suis ici, j’ai pu échanger avec pas mal d’autres clients qui ont pris une chambre ici pour une ou plusieurs nuits et ils m’ont tous dit la même chose : c’est le meilleur logement en maison d’hôtes de tout le séjour au Vietnam !!
Enfin, je souhaite à la famille tout le succès qu'ils méritent avec cette maison d'hôtes et pour tous leurs projets futurs ! Et Merci pour tout !

C’est clairement le meilleur hôtel dans lequel nous avons séjourné du Vietnam. Les chambres sont spacieuses, lumineuses et avec tout les équipements nécessaires (eau chaude, bouilloire, gel douche, shampooing…) et d’une propreté impeccable. La cadre est magnifique, à deux pas des rizières et la piscine apporte un vrai charme à cette « maison ». Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse incroyable et n’hésiteront pas à vous aider et vous conseiller. N’hésitez pas, c’est clairement l’une des meilleures guesthouse du Vietnam, si ce n’est LA meilleure !!
