Quan Luat Vietnamese Food

I’m not going to lie we were ambivalent about coming here but we saw that it was packed with locals at night.

We popped in and were told there was only one thing on the menu and it was a soup of some sort.

When the food came out, one sip had changed the entire ranking of best meals had in Vietnam.

The dish served was Duck congee (Chao Vit). It was piping hot, flavourful and satisfying.

Give it a go, it was amazing.

The owner said that she used to serve a bunch of dishes but since Covid, she pivoted to only duck.

I don’t understand the negative reviews here at all. Honestly one of the best and freshest meals I’ve had in Vietnam. Duck salad. The restaurant seems to specialize in duck, so come for that. Prices are typical for Vietnam. The family that runs the place is super nice too.

Happened to pass by and saw many locals feasting. Wow..its my best meal in hoi an: cheap and delicious. A hidden gem outside ancient city.

They charge 60 000 for this chicken with rice. Or rather rice with tiny strips of chicken. It's an overpriced tourist trap. Don't come here!

I would not recommend tourists going there. All locals including those coming later than us got their food first. We asked about the price before deciding eating and when paying they tried to charge us more.
