Ellie's Cafe Hoi An - Healthy Breakfast- Brunch- Lunch

The cutest cafe with the best food and friendliest staff! We ordered the eggs burrito and mummy’s omelette, along with coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. At the end of our meal we were given some super helpful advice by the staff for our time in Hoi An, including activities, how to get around, and which days to visit certain attractions. Couldn’t recommend this place more, we’ll definitely be back!

Hidden down a little laneway, this place was almost full when we arrived at 8am.

Gorgeous setting and super friendly staff. The service was quick and the food was amazing.

We had the scrambled tofu, avocado on toast and the egg taco.

They served a real Italian latte and the green smoothie was delicious.

A little more expensive than some of the other places we have visited, but SO worth it.

Highly recommend. If we were staying longerN I would love to try the smoothie bowls and pancakes. They looked very impressive!

Had breakfast here 6 times and everytime was consistently delicious. Oat pancakes twice, Sunday treat twice, Ellie's smoothies bowl and avocado toast (I'm not a fan of avocado and I really liked this). The family is very friendly and asks if you enjoy the food. 😊

Delicious food and zen atmosphere with plenty of plants around. Had the tofu scramble with coconut coffee, oat pancakes, and granola bowl on three separate occasions. Would recommend all, though if I had to choose one as my favorite it was the oat pancakes. Cash only. Quick service, even on a busy day.

This cafe is amazing! During our week in Hoi An, we ate here 3 times and everything we ate was AMAZING. The lunch bowls are so tasty and refreshing and the breakfast is comparable to something you would buy in California. Plus they have vegan and Gluten free options!!! You definitely need to get the pancakes!!! They were so moist and had an assortment of fresh fruits surrounding. The smashed pumpkin toast was also amazing with lots of toppings. LOVE this place. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Hoi An.

I recently visited this charming cafe and was delighted by the delightful atmosphere, outstanding food, and exceptional staff. The falafel bowl surpassed my expectations with its flavors and freshness. The staff's warm and attentive service added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the thoughtful provision of free water was a nice touch, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal. Second time of visiting this cafe and it won’t be our last.

A gem of a restaurant, hidden away down an alley. We had burrito bowls and smashed pumpkin sourdough toast and both were really tasty. Coffee made with fresh milk and arabica beans was very good

Super cute cafe and amazing food! All totally delicious, the best lunch we’ve had in all of Vietnam! The staff are so, so friendly too. We’ve visited many restaurants like this on our travels and Ellie’s is definitely our favorite. Highly recommended!

Great little find ouside Hoi An old town. Super friendly staff at this family run restaurant that realized Ellie's dream to be a restaurant owner. The smoothie bowls are delicious, and the egg dishes were perfect. Quiet spot on a side street only adds to the charm. All the food pics in previous posts are on point. We're here for a few more weeks and will return several times, for sure. Big thumbs up!

Highly recommended, best breakfast/food in Hoi An, very friendly staff, family run and very cosy place. We tried the fruit with yoghurt and granola, the mummy toast and the pumpkin toast. Everything was delicious, but the highlights were the homemade peanut butter and granola!

We had grab food delivery 3 times from this place. The food is good, we especially enjoyed the smoothie bowls. One of the top choices for the breakfast, good that they also serve coffee so you can order both things in one place instead of ordering it separately

Amaaaaazing! Little bit hidden away bit not far from the center. The lady which owns the place is so lovely and helpful! Nice atmosphere and my smoothie Bowl was made from heaven :) highly recommend!

Four of us had breakfast there two days in a row and plan to return for the next two days also. Everything we have ordered has been delicious, healthy and in a generous portion. We look forward to trying more from their menu. Service was friendly, fast and effective.

Such a cute little garden. I’ve not been feeling well and this meal made me feel so much better. Smoothie bowl was yummy with lots delicious toppings. The juice was fresh and tasted good. All in all a perfect experience.

The breakfast selections are good and tasty. Nice, helpful staff. Fans offer a welcome breeze.

The only negative was the jackhammer at 8 am followed by the barking dog just over the wall followed by the jackhammer again. Earbuds 👍

Loved Ellie’s cafe!

After a LONG night on a sleeper bus, we really wanted something good to eat and Ellie’s cafe delivered!!

I had the omelette which was super creamy and my friend had the pancakes which had plenty of fruit with it. Would definitely recommend going if you are staying in Hoi An!

Came here on a rainy morning, walked through a small flooded street but no regrets! This place is very well run with food living up to expectations and coming out fairly quickly. The food itself is great, and the smoothies are also very tasty! If you’re looking for some western style dishes/ healthy food, I’d recommend giving this place a try. Bonus points for the cute plants and decor!

Cute little place, tucked away in a side street, offering western style breakfast and brunch options. I went back for breakfast every morning while staying in Hoi An.
The only negative is the mosquitoes, make sure to bring repellent!
