We bought 2 pairs of the shelf and had two pairs made. Great quality leather and very friendly staff. Very effecient. Had a matching belt made and love it.

Go here for well made leather goods with top quality zippers, handles etc. Much, much better prices than in Old Town. An easy bicycle ride or walk, taxi from Old Town. Well worth little extra effort

I had leather boots and matching purse and handbag made at Tonic. The mounting on the bag was gold whilst I had ordered silver. They had it alterd in no time though.
I had chosen the leather at the retailer as I had also orderd a leather jacket at another store. That store was so kind as to let Tonic know which leather to use.
After a couple of fittings the boots were still not to my liking due to too many alterations. It did not go so well. Don't know why but they messed the boots up big time. BUT the good news is:
they realized they had made a couple of mistakes so they had brand new boots made. So in all: very good service.

Update: after wearing the boots for about 4 times the heelsbecame wobbly. I had to have them fixed at my shoeshop in the Netherlands. Quite pricey but the boots walk comfy now.

I give 4 stars because I know they can do better and they must do a quality check themselves before showing the stuff to their clients.

Tonic: your shop has only been open for a short while so learn from your mistakes and become the best tailor-made shoeshop in Hoi An!

disappointing. my friends and I spent quite a lot of money in the shop. the lady and I reached a common understanding on what I wanted to be made to order, but she wouldn’t write any of it down. even after I asked her to please do so as we ordered several items. so when the stuff came back, it had several things wrong which could have easily been avoided. no piece offering or refund as we paid up front.

Terrible quality!
Bought a briefcase and a pair of boots.
The briefcase was kept in a plastic bag in my suitcase, it ended up marked up from my suitcase when I got home
I wore the shoes for a few hours and the base of the heel fell off

Edited to add: I wrote this while doing grocery shopping just after the heel bit fell off, within 10 minutes the second one fell off as well

The quality is very bad, it will split when worn twice, please do n’t buy it, the boss just wants to make money
