Anantara Hoi An Resort

Truly amazing experience! The rooms and architecture of the hotel is like none other. The open layout contributes to an intimate and relaxed feeling. Every corner of this hotel feels like an old film photo.

The staff and service here is beyond amazing! They know you by name and will make an effort to check in and accommodate for any needs! My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary here and they spread rose petals in our room! They are really what makes this hotel worth staying at!

Also had the best massage I've ever had here!

Such an amazing resort! The staff is very welcoming and kind, the rooms very spacious, well-designed & decorated, perfectly clean and the in room climate control works very well! Breakfast has an amazing offering, kind and welcoming team and the variety in food & drinks offering is perfect.

Loved the pool, the gym is well-quipped and the location is spot on (within the central area but nice and quiet).

Checking-in was very personal and knowledgable and loved the free-of-charge bike service! Well-done team and would love to come back!

Just checked few hours ago into Anantara Hoi An, and our initial impressions couldn't be more positive. The hotel's aesthetic is stunning, perfectly blending with the natural surroundings by the river. What truly stands out is the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, alongside their exceptional service. An unforeseen circumstance had my daughter sustaining a leg injury, prompting a request for a room that's easily accessible. To our delight, not only was our request accommodated, but we were also graciously upgraded to a room on the main floor, enhancing our comfort significantly. They also prepared a wheelchair and prepared the room to make it easy for her to circulate.
The hotel's integration with nature adds to the overall serenity and beauty of our stay. Will update you with the rest of the stay at the end of the 4 days.

This place is so beautiful, you actually feel like your on a tropical holiday. The service was outstanding, the rooms beyond what I imagined. The restaurant's were beautiful and each had their own feel from the river to the arts. I recommend doing the cooking class because the chef was amazing and couldn't be more helpful and patiencent. It is on the river and close to old town so walking is easy but if you need a taxi the guys and girls will call which ever taxi you prefer.

Right in the hear of Hoi An. Walking distance from the amazing Night Market. This resort is beautiful with small but beautiful rooms. Ours had a wonderful porch overlooking the huge pool and facing the river.
Service was excellent, the place is very clean and the restaurant has a great view. (Although the food is better and cheaper at many of the nearby restaurants.)
They have a couple of bars and several (3?) places to eat on site.
This is also a launching point for the Vietage Train Trip that takes you on a 7 hour luxury journey to Quy Nhon - where there is another amazing Anatara hotel. While it is a seperate review, the train journey is one of the coolest things I have ever done on vacation with an open bar, gourmet food and 5 star service. Be sure to check it out!

While expensive for the area, we found the hotel to be very reasonably prices for the level of luxury and service.

HIGHLY RECCOMEND

Right along the water, within a short walk from Old Town, but not super noisy, this place was a perfect location. The rooms were large and beds very comfortable with some super strong AC! The restaurant had one of the best buffet breakfasts that we had on our trip, and the staff were consistently super friendly and helpful. Definitely a standout hotel on the trip!

Our stay at Anantara was really special, and one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The resort itself is beautiful and located close enough to the old town, but far away enough that it’s quiet. The room was lovely, clean and spacious - in particular, I really liked the outdoor seating space outside our room which had a view of the river.

There are lots of activities organised by the resort as well, and we went to the free yoga classes they held.

Above all, the incredible service from all of the staff at Anantara is what made our stay so wonderful. Every member of staff went above and beyond to welcome us and help us with anything we needed, and also everyone remembered our names which really added to making our experience feel very personal.

I would highly recommend Anantara to anyone wanting to make a visit to Hoi An - I would come back to Hoi An just for this resort!

Really beautiful hotel located right on the edge of the Old Town. An easy walk into the hustle and bustle of Hoi An by road or by the riverside. The hotel itself is lovely and peaceful with attentive and polite staff who are always willing to help. Rooms are spacious and clean with all the amenities you need. We had a really lovely stay here.

We had a good stay at Anantara Hoi An. The hotel is older but quite lovely with spotlessly-clean well-designed rooms, good amenities, and a nice sitting area out front. The only negative is that there isn't a lot of natural light in the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the best part of staying at Anantara Hoi An is the exceptional location near the historic part of Hoi An on the River. Very easy to explore the older part of town, and a lovely restaurant on the river where you can watch the colorful lights on boats floating by at night. This is clearly the best option for a nice stay in the old part of Hoi An.

Beautiful resort. Staff are friendly and professional. Great prices on yummy cocktails. The art activity session was fun and a great price. Breakfast buffet was outstanding! We had an issue with our water and they fixed it straight away.

Stunning resort. Anantara always does it right. Beautiful rooms with their own little entryway and lounge seating out front; manicured grounds; situated on the river and close to the markets; gorgeous pool; and great buffet breakfast. Highly recommend

Wonderful place stay. Close to all the action, great facilities, very comfortable rooms and beautiful friendly staff. We are heading back again next year.

Hoi An is awesome and so is the Anantara. We originally booked only two nights. During the first evening we decided to change our whole itinerary to stay longer. Hotel staff were more than accommodating to make it happen (Thong). The poolside bar staff were so attentive and his Cocktails were amazing.
Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices for every nationality. But recommend the Pho and the omelettes !
The scent of the room is like stepping into day spa each time.
The problem (if you think this is one) is that you don’t want to leave.
Luckily we are off to another Anantara and this one has set a high standard 😏

Excellent service. The staff is incredibly attentive and provides personalized service. We got sick one day and the personnel did everything they could to help. The facilities are very clean and tasteful. The food was excellent. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

Really great experience. The people of Vietnam are just amazing and we feel in love with the staff here. Hotel was awesome, right on the river and just a short walk to the market.

Welcoming us are cool glasses of water, we really enjoy even the smallest care here. The 3 restaurants in the resort are all very good, we can all enjoy traditional Vietnamese dishes and Western-style dishes. We only ate 1 time in the old town and all 3 days we ate in the resort. The location is very nice, near the old town and near the famous show place. Love this place.

Very attentive Staff. Excellent breakfast. The Mango Tango is great with vanilla ice cream.

Spacious rooms although not the best layout in my opinion. The staff here goes out of their way to make sure your stay is more enjoyable. For example, front end manager followed up with my feedback and offered more breakfast selections for my family, and you could tell they care for their guests

Hotel is perfect in so many ways- location, staff, food and cleanliness!

Thier restaurant is on the river which makes for a beautiful dinner to watch the boats lit up going by. They have bicycles you can use for free which makes it easy to get around the charming town.

The breakfast is outstanding with an assortment of western and vietnamese food.

Need to take a break- the pool is relaxing and the rooms are a perfect size.

We stayed here the last few nights of our trip to Vietnam and it was the best possible way to spend our last days. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. The location was incredible, right in the old town so we could easily walk everywhere we needed to go. The last night we did a boat tour and our guide, a concierge at the hotel, recommended a lovely local restaurant and even called ahead to tell them we were coming. We will be back!
