Lantern Riverside Hoi An

We originally booked our stay at Lantern Riverside for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we extended for 2 more. The owner was helpful, kind and offered helpful suggestions. She recommended tailor that made us feel comfortable and produced high quality designs, booked us in a cooking class that was one of the highlight of our trips and arranged transport to the airport for us that was timely and comfortable!

The location is ideal as steps away from the night market, without hearing the noise of the night market. We look forward to coming back soon!

Wonderful quiet refuge, steps away from all the action
Location is perfect, all the action and night market of Hoi An is steps away yet we found it totally quiet. Our room had a wonderful view of the river and nice little balcony perfect for coffee in the morning. Staff very friendly.

The location is great and the owner is very helpful. She was easy to reach on WhatsApp, arranged for us our taxis to and from and for
our motorbike rental, all we were able pay for by card at the front desk. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

My wife and I stayed during Tet so extra respect for how helpful the owner was considering all she had going on that week.

Really lovely room with huge planted balcony. Nuce little bavk street just off the hight market street.

Super close to everything yet a haven from the Chaos. Nice people amd the cleaning lady is especially lovely.

Free secure parking for bike and they even let me borrow a laptop to catch up on some urgent work.

You have everything you need for a longer stay, fridge, hot water, kettle and AC.

Highly recommend they also changed by dollars

Beautiful find. We extended our stay twice. Very friendly owners. Simple good breakfast of coffee, eggs, bread and fruit. Rooms very looked after and clean. Location amazing just off the main night market street. Close to everything , quiet little street. Our big room had lots of windows and balcony, got hot in the day, but they quickly.supplied us with a second ac fan. I would definitely recommend this small hotel, especially if you get for 600-700000 dong per night. Its a bargain

Nice place to chill at night with all the lanterns colorful lights.
Walk around the old town which they kept it as they are.

Good how they kept the area just with walk or by bicycle.

To go to the boat you would need to get ticket, also there will be bunch of people asking you/offering you to buy the lanter to release on the river while you on the boat.

Definitely good experience to try. For me, just too busy haha but i guess, it ls tourist attraction and this is the fun of it. Just enjoy it and relax (remember to get handy fan, because eventhough its night time, not much breeze while on it)

Great place to stay in Hoi An! Located in the heart of old town, very easy to get to everything by foot or bike. The beds were comfy and the owner is so sweet. It is a family run place and she really does make you feel at home. Would stay again!

A friendly, new homestay hotel in the heart of Hoi An. A quiet and private room, good breakfast and just steps from the night market, river, bridges, and night life of the magical town. The staff were very welcoming.

Fantastic hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, location close to walking street, but far enough away to avoid the noise.

Lovely place that’s a little bit hotel and a little bit homestay. The family is adorable and you will feel very welcomed. We rented bikes for 50k each and rode to the beach and all around town. You’ll enjoy walking to the night market and the retiring to a quiet alley way each night. Break fast was great! Awesome banana pancake!

Wonderful owner. So friendly and helpful. The room was great, clean and a good size. I would definitely come back, the location was perfect. If staying again I’d pay extra for a room with a view of the river. Price was good, both for rooms and tours, scooter rentals, etc. And breakfast included (with options).

What a great little find! Fairly new and modern. I was in room 401 which is on the top floor with a balcony looking out to the river. There is no lift, only stairs as this is a homestay, not at hotel. The bathroom is also simple and its an 'all in one', sp be prepared for eveything to get wet! This is standard in Asia. Breakfast is basic, but plenty of places near by if you're hungry. The location is exceptional, right off the night market street and about 200mtrs to the bridge into Ancient Town. The owner is really friendly and accommodating. Very helpful with ideas on things to do and places to eat. Would definitely recommend this place as it is in a great location and well priced.
