Hoi An Food Tour

We booked a tour to see My Son sanctuary with Barry. The tour start started with a prompt pickup at our hotel doorstep. He took us all in a minivan to the my son sanctuary explaining us about Hoi An on way and give us all the important history lesson about the sanctuary once we were there.

Barry was friendly and clear in communicating with us about the place. While returning he even arranged a river boat ride with a little evening snack (banh mi) to eat on the ride.

He took good pictures of us as well as a bonus.

Overall a good tour! We’ve been picked up and dropped off from the hotel we were staying. While on transit to My Son, our tour guide Andrew has made us all feel comfortable and acquainted with our tour group. He can also speak English well and easy to understand. He also has a good sense of humour so making our tour fun and educational at the same time!
My Son is also a good place to visit! How we wish we can stay longer though and it wasn’t raining. But even so, it’s been a nice experience and we’ll recommend!

We booked a day tour to My Son Sanctuary with Barry and his driver. It was a pleasant experience and really fun to banter with our guide while he brought us around and introduced us to a slice of local history. The tour timing and transport were well planned and coordinated, punctual and all included all that they have mentioned in their tour description. Recommended to book again for other local attractions.

Ms. Thao arranged the tour very well. She picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Her English is very good and explained the culture and history of Hoi An in detail. She is very attentive. My mother is an elderly woman, so she cares about her needs and takes care of her. Thank you very much.

The tour is very excellent, the coconut boat ride and the night boat ride on the lantern-filled in river in Hoi An are very profound and worth experiencing.

We had a wonderful day tour. Pick up from our hotel in Da Nang and off to Hoi An. Hoi An is amazing and beautiful. Our guide was fun and has a great sense of humour. The old town tour was informative, and the local show was good. The basket boat ride was excoriating with dancing and a good laugh. The included dinner was tasty and sufficient. Then we went on the lantern boar ride and released the lantern. For me, this was a spiritual moment in prayer. We then had free time to explore. We took the opportunity for a foot massage.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day and wholeheartedly recommended this tour if you visit Da Nang or Hoi An.

I took a half-day tour of Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary. Our tour guide, Mr. Tu, was very kind. He helped us introduce the history and attractions of Hoi An along the way. He would patiently explain any questions we had. The tour also included delicious Vietnamese traditional food at the end. It was really great!

Got to see some great parts of Vietnam culture and activities, and got to do some very popular touristy things (coconut boat, lantern boat). Would recommend this tour and enjoyed it thoroughly!

We had organised a tour via our tour operator to see Cam Kim island via bikes. Pick up and bike handover was prompt and we found the tour really interesting seeing lots of local crafts, including trying our hand at making a bamboo mat, carving our names in wood and making an incense stick. Followed by a great local lunch! Our guide Ting Ting had lots of local knowledge to share and was friendly and helpful - thank you it was fun 🙏

Excellent tour of MySon. Our guide, Andrew, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was a perfect length of time with a lovely lunch and boat ride after seeing the unesco site. We did the tour with a 4 year old and we were quite pleased on how much our little one enjoyed himself and how accommodating the guide and driver were. We would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting Hoi An!

We had a fun time at My Son led by Andrew. He is a very friendly and engaging tour guide! He gave us alot of insights on the history of Vietnam. Don't forget to also catch the performance at 10am. The private tour was a good size of 8pax plus lunch provided as well. Highly recommend this tour!

The trip to My Son is really amazing, Barry Hoy , our tour guide who can speak fluent English , and clearly explained to us about the history and culture, which helps me to understand this place more. I also will recommend my friend to visit this place which is worth to go.

We had a great time with Two, our guide for a tour his company organized. My Son and River Boat. He speaks good English and is very humorous and knowledgeable. He shares the history of My Son and even little snippets of Vietnam living, grasses that can be used as herbs on the way.

Our tour guide Bary explained how the tour will go about well, speaks really good english, answers our questions about the culture and is very knowledgeable, funny, no dull moments, sensitive with time, makes sure everyone is complete, considers those who need to use the toilet and gives a heads up.

We have booked the tour with the Gadt travels and Barry was our tour guide in Hoi An. He is really good. Punctual and explained everything nice and slow.
