Quiet at night time, clean, friendly staff, who always greet you in reception.

Location/vibe:About a 20 min walk from the old town, but gives a bit more of that authentic country vibe. It's quiet at night time for good sleep. Great ambience.

Rooms are clean and beautifully furnished. Pool and outdoor area is really nice to grab a drink and relax. Fyi the fitness room has limited weights & machines for any gym junkies.

Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Of course they can't beat the local restaurants but it's a lot better than some other 4 star hotels in Vietnam I've been to.

This hotel entirely exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely gorgeous and cozy with a beautiful pool and a garden overlooking a small canal. The staff were extremely sweet and willing to take care of my every need with a smile
They really made my stay in Hoi an. I loved the location because it was a little remote and quiet but only a 10 minute motorbike ride to the town or the beach. This place makes me want to come back to beautiful Hoi an again!

This is such a fantastic hotel in Hoi An. Comfortable rooms, beautiful pool, and amazing staff. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding as they genuinely wanted guests to enjoy their time in Hoi An.

Shining Riverside is in a more local neighborhood of Hoi An, away from the chaos of the old town. We stayed here for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. It is a bit of a walk to get to the old town so we often used Grab or the Hoi An shuttle service which were very affordable. There are great family run restaurants near by. The wifi was reliable and happy hour at the pool was a wonderful way to cool down after a hot day exploring.

Absolutely enjoyed our 2 days stay at the hotel. Ai our host at the reception was the sweetest and most helpful person. She explained all the information clearly and helped us with must visit places. Another thing we loved about the hotel were the bicycle service. It even had a kids seat. It was very useful and we enjoyed our ride through the quaint town of Hoi An. The breakfast buffet and swimming pool was also great. The hotel has many beautiful nooks to relax and do a mini photoshoot. Loved our stay here.

One of the most beautiful resort I have been so far. Just a little outside of the city, but the peace you get is unbelievable. The staff is very friendly and nice, they treat like you are special and you feel special while in there.
The morning breakfast was amazing, so much variety and the quality incredible. So mich recommended.

Truly lovely beautifully designed hotel. It’s a shame there aren’t more people here! It’s located out of the way of old town so you still have peace and quiet but is still only a 30 minute walk or 10 minute Grab. The garden makes it feel like home!

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. The garden is nicely designed beside the swimming pool. Not really close to the old town but we can easily walk by the river to the Old Town every day. Recommend!!!

A great place to retreat in Hoi An. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. If you still don’t know where to go, they can make you some suggestions. Moreover, it’s quite near to the Old Quarter, which only takes 10 minutes by taxi to get there (2.5 km away). It also offers gym and swimming pool with fantastic view to those who don’t feel like going out. It’s worth of money to spend your vacay here.

We loved everything, what a hidden gem! Convenient location, nice and clean space, beautiful pool, extremely lovely staff, got a lot of good recommendations of restaurants, tourists attractions.. We accidentally left a shirt behind, found out about it and reached out to them like 3 weeks after our stay n they still kept it nicely, special thanks to pretty Kim Chi for being so kind n for sending the shirt back to us ❤

We had a lovely stay at this hotel at a reasonable price. The check-in went really well and Ai is really helpful and explains everything in a pleasant and easy to understand manner. All the staff are polite and really helpful here.

Hanh did a great job of taking care of us at breakfast.

We have visited Hoi An many times over the past few years but this was our first stay at the Shining Riverside hotel. Without a doubt we think it is the best accommodation we’ve stayed at in this beautiful historic town. We were so warmly greeted and welcomed by all the staff as if we had been returning home. This is where their amazing hospitality started and didn’t stop until we left 14 days later. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable and with everything any guest would want. In addition to lovely ammenities in the room , we were also provided with a lovely breakfast with selection of Vietnamese and Western dishes. We highly recommend anyone visiting Hoi An to stay here as it’s a great hotel in a perfect location very close to the old town and to the beaches. The Shining Hotel is now our favourite hotel in Hoi An and we will definitely stay again next time we’re visiting. A special thanks to Trang and Hanh who looked after us every morning at breakfast and Binah and Ang at reception who were always so friendly when we went out and came back after our daily adventures.

Beautiful hotel with specular view over the rice paddies. Absolute gem of a hotel. The staffs are quite friendly and welcoming, definitely coming back next time.

The Shining Riverside Hotel is a top place in Hoi An. With it‘s lovely and clean rooms, an incredibly nice pool and the very friendly and helpful service, you can absolutely enjoy your stay.
I forgot my jewelry there, so that the manager and the staff members took care of it and sent me shortly afterwards home!
All in all, highly recommended!!!!

Alot of good and tasty options on the breakfast, clean room, quick room service (but not the best pizza), pretty view over the garden and pool, nice staff. Not near the city centre of Hoi An but cheap to go by taxi to the centre.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel! Bina at reception is the best and sweetest person we met during our whole holiday in Vietnam. She is so helpfull and interested in her guests! Amazing woman!
The rooms are perfect and breakfast great. From 5pm till 7pm there is happy hour! Buy 1 drink, get 1 free.
We love to come back to this amazing place in Hoi An!

A lovely boutique hotel with a great outdoor pool and pretty garden. Situated on the outskirts of Hoi An old town. Easy and cheap to get a taxi in. Would definitely recommend

I booked a suite room with a balcony with river view. Nice room, very pleasant smell, clean and fully equipped. Good service staff in all departments.

Breakfast is good

The only thing that bothered me was that the corridor was quite hot. Maybe it's their policy not to turn on the A/C in the corridor I think. Anyway, it's acceptable.

I'm very satisfied

was there for a three-day event and didn't stay overnight, but I was very impressed with the level of service and dedication from the hotel staff. Even though the event went on late into the night, the staff & managers were patient in managing expectations from visitors, guests and neighbors. The food and drinks served at the hotel's restaurant was diverse and tasty- the buffet included both local and intercontinental choices, which definitely satisfied all our tastes. The evening breeze from the river was also amazing (especially for a sweaty dance event ;), so I could definitely recommend a night stay here!

This is a wonderful place to spend a few days. The hotel is beautiful, and all of the staff are very friendly. We would like to single out Trang, who went out of her way to make sure everything was OK. She also speaks very good English. The rooms were a very good size and the beds were very comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and the food was delicious.
