Riverside White House Hotel

We loved our 5 days at the Riverside White House. Being on the river path is so convenient — an easy walk to old town and close to smaller, riverfront restaurants that are out of the busy tourist area. The staff are wonderful and made sure all our needs were met. They felt like family by the time we left. Hien, is the most caring and amazing host you will ever meet. I agree with all the other 5-star reviews for this hotel.

This is a gem of a small hotel, great staff who are so welcoming and very accommodating helping you to arrange tours, rent a motorbike, find good food and always smiling, a testament to great management. Location is great, restaurants on both sides, great breakfast on site, omelets are amazing! Nice small pool, they have beer, wine and cocktails on-site so you can while away downtime just watching the boat traffic go by with a drink! There are many hotel choices in Hoi An but everything about this property is great, just check out the other reviews, stellar! I will be coming back here for sure as it felt like a second home and family, besides, when was the last time the manager of a hotel hugged you goodbye? 200% recommended!!!!

I cannot fault this place. We extended our stay three days because we loved the staff, the breakfast, the service, the setting.

From the moment we were welcomed in the front door to the hugs upon departure staying here was an absolute pleasure.

Despite Hoi A being a busy place, the peace and quiet beside the river, the top floor bedroom, the foyer area plus the wonderful staff added to our joy of coming and going during the day.

Access to push bikes, motorbikes, travel agency services, laundry, all added to the great time. The personal service above and beyond was much appreciated.

Thanks for the stay… we intend to return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Riverside! The staff were all so welcoming and helpful with activities, tour planning, and recommendations! Hien at the front desk gave us so much good information at check in that we were able to get the most out of our 2 days in town (and still had time to relax). The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food delicious, and the view gorgeous. Close walk to the one town, but far enough away that you get a more peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

We were given a room upgrade due to our Expedia membership status.

The hotel is located just outside the busy Hoi An Ancient Town and has rooms facing the River. This location is convenient for you to walk to the Ancient Town to dine, and chill and then retreat to some quietness for a good night's rest. Our room was on the second floor and comfortably sized,with the river view.

Breakfast was good too. You will need to order your proteins and salad items which will be cooked personally for you.

The reception team was friendly and helpful too!

Loi and family run a great little place, very accommodating great people who treat you like family.
Breakfast is great with something for everyone. Would not hesitate to book here again when we return. Location to Old town is perfect

The second stay here as our stay last year was so good. Great location near the old town, which is a very short walk, but just on the edge enough to be peaceful and quiet. Great breakfast and best of all great staff. Receptionist Hein is awesome, offering great local advice. The manager Loi and his team are great. Highly recommended.

Fabulous hotel in a great location next to river, in a quiet location but very easy to walk into the town centre 5 minutes away .
Hien on the front desk was charming and very helpful, really made our stay here the best we have experienced in Vietnam.
The rooms are large airy very clean and open plan .

The receptionist, Hein was the best thing about this place! Such a kind person. She is so genuinely kind, helpful and knowledgeable that I thought she might even be the owner. The rooms were nice. Great view. Very helpful staff in general.

Great hotel, extremely well priced. Positioned right on the river just out of the hustle and bustle of the old town. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Perfect spot for couples.

Staff were really kind helpful. Even though the place does not have a lift, he happily helped us carrying our heavy luggages to the top floor. Clean room and clean bathroom.

I stayed here with my cousin and we had a third floor view - amazing view of the water and the pool 🤩 the balcony was very nice to sit outside and watch the traffic of the boats pass by. I appreciated having two twin beds and having the sink outside of the bathroom instead of with the shower and toilet - super convenient for friends or family to share if you're not a couple! Hien and Loi were fantastic hosts and Hien gave me lots of recommendations for our stay in Hoi An and where to go. We decided to extend our stay in Hoi An due to the ran and rebooked stuff last second, and Hien was able to get us a tour to Hue which we enjoyed. As we were also Vietnamese Americans, Hien was playful with helping us practice our Vietnamese! We even got beef pho for breakfast offered to us since it's standard for Vietnamese people over the standard Western breakfast, which was much appreciated:) would love to come back here next time!

I just had a seven night stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Great location just a short walk along the riverfront into the heart of the Old town. Nice to watch the river traffic go by from the balcony too.

A very friendly team managing the hotel. Although the Breakfast buffet set-up was the same every day there was a good amount of choice from the a-lacarte menu.

FYI The toilet and shower cubicles within the room and portioned by glass might not be for everyone. Fine just for me but be aware of this if you intend sharing the room with someone who might be a bit shy!

Room and services are really nice. Excellent breakfast. Anyway, the best of this hotel is Ms Hien, she is so lovely. Made us feel like home and gave us all the information we need to know about Hoi An.

Great sized rooms, very clean, staff really very helpful & kind, & the location on the river, a short walk from town was just perfect. Beautiful views from the dining tables & pool.

I enjoyed staying here. It was so convenient and helpful I could use bicycle for free of charge. I went to the laundry shop near here. I like the breakfast here too. I could ask for cooking cheese omelet and it was tasty. The river view from the eating space was lovely. It is not so far from the central ancient town of Hoi An. By using bicycles, you can go there in some minutes. Thank you so much.

The Riverside White is not right in the middle of Hội An but a short relaxing walk along the river which suited my wife and I who prefer a bit of piece during the wee hours.

Beautiful spot. Boutique hotel only 15 rooms. Lovely staff, from Hien on reception, the cooks & house maids all are helpful nothing is too much trouble. The Manager Loi & his family compliment the rest of the staff. Property is picturesque overlooking the lantern boats on the river easy walking distance from the central market. We will return

Great river view, short walk to markets then catch a lantern boat river ride straight back to the hotel. Freshly made breakfast of your choice off the menu with a peacful river view. Really clean room and helpful front desk. Great value 👌
