Golden Peach Villa Hoi An

Found this villa in last minutes from Airbnb. Absolutely happy with the short stay here. The premise is well decorated with tradition style. The host and staff are friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes from the noisy center. Highly recommended for couple and family.

Made to feel at home from the first moment I stepped through the door. Rosie is super knowledgeable and helpful and has a wonderful magnetic personality. She goes out of her way to help you feel welcome. One example: she showed us the markets and taught us how to choose local fruits and veg at their peak. Do you know how choose the sweetest dragonfruit or pineapple or mango? Neither did I. This wasn't the only time we benefited from her expert chef skills, either, nom nom...

Her villa is full of personal touches, decorated in the traditional Vietnamese style in the public areas, with some beautiful paintings and sculpture as well. The staff are sweeter than pie and you can see that they take a genuine pride in how they care for everything.

The garden/ covered patio area, where breakfast is served, is a calming and peaceful place to start the day. And it's right on the river, so it's super quiet, a peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. Good for the sound sensitive or digital nomads that work from home.

Cute villa hotel, good breakfast and the showers have heat and pressure! The beds are hard depending on what room you get. They have bicycles you can borrow and offer laundry services. Some rooms have nice views. The staff were very kind.

낯선 나라의 가옥에서 머물러본다는
매력은 있습니다만, 호텔같은 편안하고
쾌적한 시설을 원하면 비추 입니다.
올드시티에서 도보로 10분 정도이기에
걸어다녔습니다. 앞의 윈드벨이나 옆에
좀 더 깔끔한 숙소도 있으니 참고하세요.
참. 4층의 방은 피하시길. 모터펌프 소리가
밤새나서 저도 다음날 다른 방으로
바꾸었습니다.

원래 예약했던 숙소가 이전 사용자로 인해 고장났다며 이 곳으로 옮기게 되었다. 올드타운에서부터 약 15분~20분은 걸어야 도착할 수 있다. 거리가 애매해서 택시도 안 태워주는데... 덕분에 저녁에 땀 흘리며 걸어들어갔다. 상당히 베트남스러운 곳에서 하루를 지낼 수 있다는 점, 도마뱀과 함께 잘 수 있다는 점, 아침에 간단한 조식을 제공하며, 주변 포인트를 지도에서 콕 집어 준다는 점은 좋았다. 하지만 호스트와 운영하시는 분들이 친절하지 않았다면, 별 세 개도 아깝다.
