Ham Rong Park

A visit here is soo worth it when in Sapa, you can find beautiful views of Sapa Town here. Entrance is 70000 Dong.

The walk up to the cloud garden is really easy, only takes about 10 minutes and the view is incredible.

The park, gardens, and superb views you can get of Sapa make this a well worth visit. There is a climb of stairs to the entrance of the park. On the way up or down, there are a few locals cooking and selling the famous "chestnut cake." I rewarded myself on the way down. Tip...get them when they have just cooked them, they are superb.
There is a 70,000 vnd fee to enter the park. I am sure it helps them cover the costs of maintaining such as huge area. Take the map of the park when you buy your ticket. It shows all the stop points, hiking trails, caves, and attraction areas within the park. You have to take the stairs to the right of the entrance to enter. If you take the right fork at the top of the stairs, you will get to see the first viewpoint of sapa and there is a nice seating area. There are many trees, statues and flowers on your next little walk to the open area.
From here, you walk straight ahead, and after the lady selling souvenirs, take the stairs on the left up to heavens gate. Here, you can take several paths to explore rose arches, the flower gardens, and breathtaking views. There is a man selling drinks here and a lot of seating areas. By man with drinks cart take the concrete path to your left and it takes you to the main view point. I missed this path on my exploring of heavens gate as I took stairs down other side of the rose arch. It then took me 2 hours to find a way up to the viewpoint! So when at heavens gate, the easiest and quickest way is the main concrete path by the man with drinks cart.
There are no seats at the viewpoint, which is a shame, but it is truly amazing.

Beautiful park. Very well maintained and lots to explore. Some interesting paths and viewpoints.

Parcs et jardins de Ham Rong. Le parcs est arboré et plantés de magnifiques fleurs. Prendre le dépliant à l'entrée pour pouvoir vous repérer dans les différents sentier de randonnées. Prévoir au moins 2h si vous voulez faire le tour. Le point de vue sur Sa pa est superbe. Nombreux thèmes dans les jardins, une belle ballade et un lieu à faire découvrir.
