Muong Hoa valley is a beautiful place with picturesque terraced fields and Muong Hoa stream. It is an ideal check-in point when traveling. It is an intact, pristine valley that still retains its peace. peace and culture no longer exist in today's modern world.

What a beautiful valley with rice terraces everywhere. We walked with a local guide who was very knowledgeable and took us through the most beautiful passages and streams with the best views.

We were very lucky as the weather was clear throughout the trek. It's highly recommended if you love nature and trekking. You should wear good trekking shoes as some areas are tricky and slippery.

The villages are so authentic with such authentic life. There is a feeling that you have arrived in a medieval village. So close to civilization but actually so far.

Beautiful sceneries and landscapes. You can stop on many viewpoints along the way to enjoy different views. Sometimes you will find local vendors which are a bit pushy but also very kind and sweet. Definitely recommend!!

Do hiking from sapa to this beautiful valley. Too bad the day before was raining whole day, and yes its a problem. The road we take was muddy and slippery, some of it just like a pond. I took half day trekking with lokal Lao Cai called Xue, in total it took 5 hours for about 7 maybe 8 km distance. Xue did wekcome us to her house, and If you ever visit sapa please do buy souvenir from those local ladies with their traditional dress. They really do need a helping hand. They are kind people who try to survive.

A very beautiful place/ route to visit especially for backpackers and people who love nature.
The best way is to ride a motorbike.
There are souvenirs shops on the way with cute stuffs. If you want anything, please go to the shops and buy it, not from the people and the children who follow you, try to talk and persuade you to buy theirs.
The more people do that, the more children can’t go to school but have to go to the street and sell stuffs to tourists. It doesn’t help them!!!
Furthermore, this kind of making money is prohibited in Sapa. Please don‘t support that.

Definitely worth a trip there if you have a bike, car or driver.

Amazing trek! It wasn't the wet season yet and therefore we only saw some sprouts and only a few fields with them, but beautiful nonetheless. You are going through the fields, like you've seen in the pictures. We had 3 days in Sa Pa and the treks on day 1 and day 3 were disappointing, but visiting Lao Chai and Ta Van made up for it! If you can only do one day: only do this one (forget about Cat Cat village: it's a tourist trap).

Nice place to trek through villages and hill slope paddy field, watching local life and children playing. The scenery speak for itself, need to be there to experience if. But if you book a guide, do be careful of those villager that follow you. They will say they just need to go back to their village and it on the same path but will try to sell you thing once they reach their village. My guide did pre-warn me on this.

Great place to see a legit Hmong village and buy some items from the people here. But don't buy from the first person you see! Get a price check at the store first! Pro tip :)

If you are in Sapa, this is the valley you should go to. Nice place to trekking from the center of sapa. Through villages and hill slope paddy fields. You will get great views on the way to the valley and beautiful rice terraces.

Breathtaking view. We did a trek and along the way, you'll see a lot of free range farm animals. Make sure you join a trek and get a local guide to get the full experience! For treks, I would recommend Sapa O'Chau - reasonably priced social enterprise with experienced local guides who are also fluent in English.
