Viet Duc Guest House

I had an incredibly enjoyable experience during my three-night stay at this homestay in Sapa last week. The host, who spoke exceptional English, went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. Upon our arrival, she promptly helped us book an amazing trek, arranged our onward travel to Hanoi and a moped so that we could go straight out and see the waterfalls which are about a 20 minute drive away., and even provided a delicious breakfast the next morning so we were energised before our trek. As we were about to depart, she efficiently took care of our laundry and miraculously restored our muddy trekking shoes to their original condition after months of hardcore backpacking. The room itself was perfect for our needs, offering a comfortable night's sleep and a refreshing hot shower. It is also in good walking distance from the main town so no worries there I have no complaints and am grateful for her outstanding hospitality.

For the price u can’t beat this place. Good size room with great water pressure and hot water. Reliable wifi and cleanliness at a high standard also. They rent motor bikes aswell which is handy if u wanna go to the waterfalls.

We arrived very late in Sapa, after 10pm and I contact the Hotel via WhatsApp (the number they have here) asking if they had a room for us. The owner immediately answered and waited for us. The room was very clean and the bed was the comfiest we slept in Vietnam! She offers breakfast and the omelette was absolutely delicious! We definitely recommend it :)

We loved it here. This was the perfect place to land in Sa Pa. We hadn’t had any trekking pre-booked so we were so grateful that Ha, the owner, helped us. She is an incredible host and you just feel welcome and taken care of. She helped us book an amazing 3-day trekking tour, and found us a bus to our next destination very last minute. Breakfast was excellent as well — she makes the best omelettes! We liked it so much here that we stayed an extra night when we came back from
Trekking. Also the rooms are big and the showers hot — and for such a cheap room cost. Everything you need!

The host is very kind and very helpful! She helped us to book our ticket to Laos and when we realized 4hours before departure it was no possible to get a VOA she helped us cancel it and booked a ticket to Hanoi instead! She even drove us with her car to the bus station and the bus she booked to Hanoi is amazing !
The room is very clean, the bed is comfy and the is hot water : everything you need for a very cheap price!

Amazing place to stay. Ha is an incredible host and our stay was so comfortable. She also helped sort out the best transport back to Hanoi and is incredibly attentive with her guests, including all the lovely food she can make!

Really good stay at Viet Duc's!The owners are really nice and helped us a lot! Economic room with hot water, not far away from the city center. You can rent motorbike and book trek with them 👌😊 Thank you very much for everything!

Everything was closed for lunch time around the area and it was pouring rain. We were so lucky to find this restaurant/homestay. We had a quick lunch and every was very good. We ate fried rice with eggs and ginger and honey tea. The food was sooo fresh and the honey was very natural. Plus the lady was very nice.

We stayed at this hotel during our visit to Sapa in April 2023. It is a friendly and affordable place and I fully recommend it, we actually prolonged our stay for a couple of days. The owner, a very hospitable lady, speaks English very well and is very nice and helpful. We booked our trip to Fansipan via the hotel and we also repeatedly rented scooters for some further away trips. It's also not in the very center of Sapa town, which is actually a good thing; Sapa town is quite small and everything is within walking distance (so not being in the very center is not a nuisance) and you can enjoy much calmer environment in terms of noisiness and hustle.

Backpacker friendly! Very kind owner. Good service. The 2 day Trek is the cheapest in town!

다소 낡긴 했지만 가격 생각하면 할 말이 없습니다. 짧게 가성비로 머물기 좋아 제 계획에 적합한 숙소였어요. 선월드 플라자도 매우 가까워 판시판 가기에도 편했네요. 주인 아주머니도 친절하시고 좋았어요~

하노이로 돌아가야 하는 상황이라 일찍 체크아웃을 했었는데 직접 나오셔서 아쉽다고 인사하셨습니다. 숙소 진짜 강추합니다!
호스텔이라 불안한 마음도 있었지만 침구류 관리와 청결도 매우 깨끗합니다. 화장실도 깨끗합니다.

Was dieses Hotel so einzigartig macht?
- Ms Ha, die Chefin des Hauses, ist ein wahrer Engel!!! Sie hat uns sogar ins Spital begleitet und übersetzt als sich meine Frau den Arm gebrochen hat.
- die Zimmer sind einfach aber sauber und funktional
- das Frühstück ist super. Das Omelette ist wirklich der Hammer- da kann ich mich der vorigen Rezension nur anschließen.
- wir wurden bei der Buchung von Trekkingtour und Nachtbus zur Weiterreise super unterstützt. Ms Ha checkt das in Rekordzeit
- und nach 3 Tagen Trekking (wir konnten unser Rucksäcke in der Zwischenzeit dort auch deponieren) auch noch eine Dusche und Wäschewasch-Service angeboten zu bekommen, war einfach am Punkt.
Für alle Vietnam-Neulinge der beste Ort, um erste Erfahrungen zu machen und die typischen Touristen-Fehler zu vermeiden.

저는 처음 베트남에 방문했습니다. 이곳 viet duc에 묵으며 판시판에 다녀왔습니다. 사파역에서 아주 가깝고 사파시내를 돌아다니기 좋습니다. 이곳 여자 사장님은 베트남의 보물입니다. 제가 앞으로 베트남에서 어떤 일을 겪더라도 이곳 사장님의 아름다운 미소를 기억하며 베트남을 사랑할 것입니다.

1.동남아시아 수도시설은 한국보다 좋지 않으니 민감하신 분들은 샤워기 필터를 가져오시기 바랍니다. 저는 필터없이 여행했고 아무문제 없었어요.
2.이곳에서 빨래도 가능하니 이것저것 바리바리 싸오지 마시고 빨래해서 다시 입으세요. 저는 배낭여행자인데 3일치 옷을 다 싸왔어요... 초보여행자의 실수였네요. 배낭이 너무 무거웠어요ㅠㅠ
3. 함롱산도 꼭 가보세요. 멋있었어요!!
4. 여기 여사장님이 판매하는 판시판 티켓은 현장구매보다 싸고 우리가 인터넷에서 구하는 것보다 비싸요. 하지만 저는 여사장님께 구매했어요. 그래서 판시판에서 어떤 일이 있었는데 whats app으로 통화해서 여사장님이 도움주셨어요. 그래서 클룩말고 여사장님께 구매한게 돈이 아깝지 않았어요. 잘 판단하셔서 구매하시길 바랍니다. 2천원정도 차이라 이정도에 큰 도움 얻은게 감사할 따름이에요.
