Mountain View Sapa Hotel & Hostel

Excellent stay at the Mountain View. Mrs Moon was a great host and ensured that our travel plans were taken care of right off the bus from Hanoi until our travels back. She gave good advice for the trekking adventure. Food was authentic and plentiful. Worth the upgrade.

I did not stay in her hotel but have dinner with her and her lovely family. It’s a simple dinner but it’s authentic and daily food that local Vietnamese people eat. She’s very kind and helpful. Extremely welcoming as well. Go join her trips and have dinner with her and her family. They will definitely enjoy your company and same for you!

Excellent stay and breakfast. Balcony is my work place, windy and cosy. Good view on sunsets and close to many restaurants.

Mrs Moon is a treasure - helped our group of 15 to conduct our trek with home stays. The hotel is great, lovely food and every hospitality. Mrs Moon is a fantastic lady and she seems to enjoy making people happy. You certainly made us feel welcome and went above what was expected to give us a truly spectacular time in Sapa. The hostel is a little bit hiding right in the corner of the street construction... so it will be a little hard to find, but once you are there with Mrs. Moon hospitality... you feel like in your own home. The location is also strategic, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and close to rental of motorcycle. Mrs. Moon as the manager of the hotel will assist and arrange your trip as your preference, she will be delightful to do that. She has arranged by family trip to Fansipan and Cat Ba islands al the way back to Hanoi... with reasonable price also.
We can cook in her kitchen and can order breakfast too... although they prepare pancakes and bread but we can ask something else. She also can provide dinner for your family or romantic dinner for your honeymoon with only USD 3 per pax.
During winter, the hostel provides electric blanket and she can give you extra heather.
The hostel also has public space for your family for hang out play pool or just siting near the fireplace to warm your body. Enjoy Sa Pa and you can ask Mrs. Moon yo enjoy Sa Pa.

Mrs. Moon is great!! She helped us find a good company for our sleeper bus to Hanoi and told us which ones to avoid. So nice!

THIS IS AN AMAZING hOTEL hOSTEL.. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY .. THE FOOD FAB.. THE VIEW TO DIE FOR.. AND SO CHEAP.. WHAT A GREAT JOB HAD A WONDERFUL TIME HERE .. WILL BE BACK FOR SURE.
