Sapa Tribal Trekking

We spent a 2d 1n trek with Sapa Tribal Trekking.
This such an amazing experience and would highly recommend this.
From my research, this is one of the only businesses that is owned, run and staffed by local SAPA tribes. One of the other main companies is owned by Europeans but suggests otherwise.
Giang was very helpful with replying to messages to advise us on transport options (we used vic sapa train there and Kad bus (via vexere) return).
Unfortunately Giang wasn’t able to join us for day 1 due to helping another booking. Her “niece” was friendly and nice but joining up with Giang on day 2, it showed how great she was. Giang was so informative and helpful.
She also helped fob off the locals trying to flog us toot.
We stayed at the home stay which was nice. We had our own private room which was nice (other home stays often share a room).

I would 100% recommend Giang and sapa tribal trekking. Not only as they were amazing but also to support the local tribes.

We recently did 2 days of trekking with Giang in Sapa. She is an amazing guide! Born in one of the villages we visited, she is vastly knowledgeable of the cultures and places to see in the area. She was flexible, personable, and spoke excellent English. She also arranged a taxi for us one day to visit out-of-town local sites, which was very helpful. Absolutely 5 stars!

Giang made the trekking trip very enjoyable. She was knowledgeable and provided great insights to the region. Learnt much from her. She was fluent in English and understood our questions. The pace was comfortable. She stopped with us when we were curious and wanted to find out more. She made side trips to the farms when she found out that we were interested. I will highly recommend Giang as your guide. I have recommended her to my friends likewise.

Giang was an amazing guide! She put together all the sights we wanted to see in our 1-day trekking and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and having fun throughout the day. Will definitely recommend Giang if you're visiting Sapa! Thank you Giang :)

Highly recommend Giang! She’s a local that grew up in that area and is very passionate about sharing with us everything she knows! She even went out of her way to help us the next day cause we were a little lost!
Her English is really good too which helped alot really awesome to know that she learnt English while giving tours!

If you’re heading to Sapa I definitely recommend engaging with her as her rates are affordable too!

After hours of trekking, we had a wonderful meal here and had our luggage transported on a motorbike to our homestay in Ta Van. Chan's English is very good so were able to learn a lot about the local tribal life and culture. She showed great concern about my partner's wounded knee (from a recent motorbike mishap that was mostly my fault), asking if we needed to slow down or get a ride for parts. Highly reccommend.
