My first time going to Sapa and a friend introduced me to this motel. Very good service, friendly staff. Especially the employee named My. Everyone here is very friendly and enthusiastic. I highly recommend everyone here. Airy space, very suitable for long trips or hanging out with friends. I really like this place. Thank you everyone here for giving me a good experience.

Lovely little getaway. The pool was too cold to go all the way in but we are in autumn so probably perfect in the summer! Big rooms and very quiet. Occasional cockerel in the morning but that goes with the country vibe 😊 the food..Amazing and really great value, would recommend the fried chicken and sweet/ pork 😋
Very helpful and offers local tour with the tribes, make sure you bring good shoes because you will go hiking on some very muddy and dodgy paths but the scenery is worth it 🎍
They also offer motorbike hire and taxi services for additional cost, be prepared to be very isolated but perfect to unwind and disconnect for a while. (Still got good WiFi)

I felt myself comfortable, safe like in my family and I felt myself like I am in my own country house. This is the best value-money I ever was. We had also great cozy dinner and it was really unique experience. Thanks for the great family that owns this place.

We had a very comfortable stay and were treated like family. We even played cards with the little boy. It's a very quiet place where you get great sleep ! Mr Sau and his family were also very helpful in arranging cabs and trek for us. I would say the only down side is that it's a bit far from Sapa town (45mins) but so are most of the homestays. They also have a pool with an amazing view but we didn't use it because it was a bit cold. Definitely recommend this place !

Sau Meo homestay has been so far the coziest stay in my trip in southeast asia.
The beautiful Hmong family who runs this place is the loveliest: they offered an incredible service, arranging anything I needed with a prompt communication: from the taxi to and from Sapa, to my dinner at a scheduled time (due to work), and their kindness is something I won't forget. Food was just amazing.
If you are a digital nomad and need to work, please know that the wi-fi in this place is stable and great, making it an ideal place to work as well.
It's located 30 min from Sapa town, but this is just an advantage in my opinion: as soon as you arrive, you realise that the location is incredible...it's in the heart of this land.
They have some motorbikes to rent for a very decent price, so you can go exploring all around. I would say that the bike is needed since there is no much to do in the nearby area, other than trekking, but if you wish to get some rest this is the perfect place.
The family also organizes guided trekking tours - sadly this time I would not do this because I was working half of the day.
I would highly recommend this homestay if you wish to do an authentic experience in the best location around Sapa and surrounded by special beautiful local people.
I will come back for sure...and I still have to train my spinning top skills with little Pao :)

I really had a vivid memory here. Coming to this place, I get to learn more things about the largest ethnic minority in Vietnam such as diversal culture and traditions. Participating in trekking tour was really an unforgettable experience, drop by some the local's house and get to taste some specialities from the local. Besides, the property owner and their family were so friendly and helpful. The facilities and price was definitely worthy to make me think about coming here to stay again for the next time. Such a lovely homestay. We felt warmly welcome and the family invited us spending an evening together and enjoy the good food and happy water.
The room was cozy and comfortable.

First of all everyone should know that this place is 45 min drive from main Sapa town. So other than treks you actually have nothing to do. A taxi to and fro to town costs around 500000 VND . Now about the place, what makes it best is the family and the hospitality. Food is local. Mr Sau is very nice and makes you try all his wines. He invited us to have lunch with his family which was a great honor. His small kiddo Pao is a genius in chess and i liked him very much. God bless the family. God bless Sapa and Vietnam
