Khu family Homstay

We were so lucky to have met Ku in Sapa! She invited us to her lovely home with delicious food, a trek around her village - giang ta chai & great company! We couldn’t recommend her enough ☀

Amazing trekking experience in Sapa! Khu is a very kind and attentive guide (we learned a lot about black hmong traditions). Definitely recommend for those seeking for a local immersion.
They offer homestay, trekking, cooking lessons and a lovely chat :)

We had a perfect stay with Khu and her family! We only stayed for one night and it was so nice to be among the locals and the normal way of living in these villages. The view is amazing, the trekking that we did from Sapa to the village was also great! Khu knows a lot and can tell you almost everything about traditions and their culture. I even could put on the traditional clothing that the woman wear. At the traditional dinner they learned us how to make the springrolls and we felt so welcome! We are going to book again when we come back to Sapa.

*Note: if you travel to Khu her house you have to walk the last bit, it is like 5-10 minutes up the mountain. Google Maps was a bit lost so we just asked the locals for Khu and they told us the good way. Easy!

For those who know how to travel, this is an amazing experience. Very authentic. Mama Ladu hosted me and my partner for one night. Gave us a wonderful track from Sapa city to her Mongolian village. She made us incredible authentic food, one of the best I had in Vietnam. Warm water, and build toilets are one of the nice facilities in her place. And although the nice facilities it is stay a very very authentic experience. We love Mama Ladu and her amazing family and they will always stay in our hearts.
