La Paix Hue Riverside villa

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Rooms are comfortable, staff is amazing! The location is good if you would like to avoid the noisy city centre but be in a walking distance. Breakfast should be selected from menu, and it has both local and international dishes to experience. I really recommend La Paix Hue for short city visits.

If you are looking for a simple homestay style accommodation in Hue, this is one of the best IMO. The only downside is the sound makes by rain drops on zinc roof (next house) at night. If you are a light sleeper like me, I was awaken at 3am from that sound. Breakfast is included and very good. Staffs are all friendly and very willing to help when asked. Love the architecture especially the cafe (dining) built next to the river.

Small gem hidden from the city noises with a beautiful garden on the river.
The room is clean, with nice colors and vibe, the beds are more comfortable than my own, best hotel bed I ever slept on.
The little garden where you can have breakfast is beautiful.

This is a fantastic hotel right on the river. Rooms are nice, breakfast was more than we could eat and nice food. They organised a motorbike hire for us. Location is a little far from centre but very quiet just hire motorbike. Recommended

Great location, absolutely excellent staff who go out of their way to help you, make your stay easy and make you comfortable.
Lovely drinks in the cafe, great food recommendations, easy rental of scooter. Lovely room -- clean and comfortable. Wonderful terrace on which to relax -- whether watching the rain or hiding from the sun. Excellent wifi. Would gladly stay again.

Everything is amazing in this place. If you don’t like noisy touristic areas, the house near the water with wonderful veranda and calm yard is absolutely for you. There are bicycles in the hotel to reach the city center — 5 minutes, staff is very helpfull and polite (Lala and Lynn helped us with tickets for the buss and hidden gems in the city). Also the cook in the hotel is super charming lady who will surprise you with approach and local taste.

Our room was on the first floor and we were sleeping good. And worked in the afternoon at the terrace.

La Paix was a wonderful, simple, and accommodating hotel with the best breakfast we had in our three week visit to Vietnam. The room was minimal and equipped with a good AC, clean bathrooms, and a comfortable bed. The front desk provided amazing service both when we needed to move our booking and also when we were looking for help with laundry service, having some dirty hiking shoes cleaned, and booking a private tour. The workers here were so sweet.

The private tour of Hue they helped us book was with Lan who was incredible and informative. A dragon boat came to the back dock of the hotel and picked us up to start our tour. The private tour was also reasonably priced compared to similar options on TripAdvisor.

The hotel had free bicycles to use, and had a very nice and quiet location away from the city center. It was walkable to the city center if you’re comfortable with a 15-20 minute walk. Their river view dining area was very calming and unique. Most hotels in the area were directly off the loud road. Breakfast was served in front of the river view each morning and was cooked fresh when you arrived to breakfast. There was a great selection between sweet and savory options and you were able to pick your breakfast from a set menu every night.

Outstanding boutique hotel in Hue! Great variety for freshly prepared breakfast, great service and incredibly sweet and kind staff, which made our stay perfect. Very comfy beds as well and the right place if you want to have a tranquil stay which is still close to everything but not located in the tourist center.

Nice hotel with Hen (small clam) island view, along Huong River. It has clean room with eco-friendly style such as water in glass bottles, toothbrush in paper bag, sampoo and body shower in nice glass bottles, etc. Highly recommended!

Great little hotel, hidden on the river, just outside the busy traveller’s’ quarter. Cute rooms, clean, good bedding, nice cosy restaurant, generous yummy breakfast, very helpful staff. Did our laundry in a few hours too, for our family of 5 and a week worth of clothes.
Helped us organize a dragon boat pick up to the Pagoda and Citadelle, then private car pick up at the restaurant to visit the 3 main Emperors Mausoleums. And it was impeccable.
Heads up on the dragon boats, even if they come from the hotel, they will try to sell you loads of stuff, giving the droopy eyes to soften you into high ridiculous prices.

Good place to stay in Hue City. Staffs were so nice with us. Ms Thao, Ms Lynn, Mrs Bảy and Security guy are friendly, helpful. Homestay is next to the Perfume River so it has a nice riverview. It’s so paceful. We’ll come back and tell our friends about this place.

Best location, great value for money, wonderful staff, beautiful garden. Hong was an amazing personelle, very responsive from the beginning, tried her best to make sure you enjoyed your stay. We stayed only one night at Hue, we wanted a room on the river, so we booked the room with a King Size Bed for our family of three-my 13 year old son was with us-since the family room was already booked, and although Hong was so concerned about our comfort, we had a very relaxed stay-really large ann comfortable bed! Highly recommended.

Best place I've ever lived. River view scenary is beautiful. There has an island on the other side and centre of Huong river. The staff is friendly. Definately suggest to stay.

I highly recommend this hotel: quiet river location, modern furniture, great breakfast and friendly staff. Only a 15 minutes walk from the city centre.
