The Purple Hue - Charming Riverside Hotel

Tucked in a little alleyway, it is easy to find with signage. Host was very kind and accommodating. ☺ We were shown 3 different rooms, and all were in good condition, we ended up liking the smaller cozy room with the patio, but even though the bathroom was a bit small, the bed was very comfortable, it had a good view from the window, and the TV and AC worked. 🙏

Spent 10 nights here and we were very, very happy. The room was bright and clean with a good view over the river. It was cleaned and restocked with water, coffee and tea everyday. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. Amazing value and would 100% stay here again if in Hue for a long or short stay.

Edit: forgot to mention that the bed and pillows were sooooo comfy

Had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff (especially Son) was extremely helpful and the room was tidy. Great stay value wise too. The room was really quiet and there were many options for tours as well as scooter rental.

Hey, I just wanted to say that Hue is one of my favourite cities mainly because of this hotel. The hotel is in a quiet location about 5mins walk from walking street where there is a strong nightlife. The manager of the hotel is super friendly and went out of his way to list the best food options, organise some tours and transfers. His local knowledge is awesome

This place was great for its price. For 10£/night the staff go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy, they are lovely and most importantly the bed was incredibly comfy. It was fairly clean too.

We originally booked a room in the other purple hotel and when we got there they changed us to this one, they were very nice, helpful and efficient though so it was no trouble :)

Such a lovely experience staying here. The staff were incredibly welcoming and very helpful and kind. The room was clean and tidy and it was very easy to walk into the main parts of the city. Really brilliant, 10/10! Thank you for making our stay in Hue so wonderful!

The room was tidy and calm at a reasonable price. The hotel staff responded fast to questions (also via WhatsApp), organized an airport shuttle, recommended great restaurants, places, and tours.

We had a fantastic stay here. The service rivalled any super fancy hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Obviously the amenities are different from that kind of hotel but the staff was incredibly helpful and nice. It started at check in when Anh gave us a huge Google doc filled with recommendations for restaurants, places to see and other places that a visitor to the city might want to know about. The room was super clean. We loved it.

We had an amazing stay here. The owners are honestly some of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve come across. The room was great, 2 big double beds and a a very powerful and hot shower in the bathroom! Organised everything we needed and for a very reasonable price. In a quiet area but walking distance to the walking street with lots of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Cutest little hotel with everything you need for a budget price. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They bookmarked a handful of restaurants & cafes on my phone that we enjoyed. We hope you’ve back someday as Hue was my favorite city in Vietnam so far.

This was my 5th time staying here and, as always, it was fantastic. This is a family run hotel that is super friendly and the staff go above and beyond your expectations.
The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms smell lovely, and the beds are super comfy.

Absolutely excellent hotel. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fabulous stay in Hue. The beds were more than comfortable and the room was cozy. Within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The hotel staff is second to none. Extremely helpful and had great restaurant recommendations.

My friend and I had the best experience staying at The Purple Hue. The accommodations were top notch… clean room, nice staff, and centrally located with the view of the Huong River. Staff even provided guidance on where to explore and eat around town and also assisted us on our transportation needs. We highly recommend!

LOVED staying here! Staff greeted us with a plate of fruit and homemade juice when we arrived. The breakfast was always so tasty and the views from the top floor restaurant were incredible. The staff helped us book a DMZ tour that picked us up right in front of the hotel. We liked that it was just a short walk to the city center - not right in the middle of all the craziness. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
