I had a wonderful stay! Host family was warm and welcoming, very helpful with providing info on places to visit in town. Room was perfect if you're looking for something private, clean, and quiet near the Citadel. Rooms simply furnished, bed was comfy, and bathroom was a wet rooms as is typical on Asia. Would stay here again

Lovely and friendly owner, clean and comfortable room. Allowed us to check in early and had clearly made the room up quickly (but still to a very high standard) to allow this. Location is perfect for Citadel, market and new town/evening drinks. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful, small hotel with a few rooms and for the price and location it was perfect. It is a great home base for your trip to Huế

Nice little place, just around the corner from the Imperial City, lovely staff, clean rooms, decent wifi and a great price :)

The ladies that run the place are super nice (although grandma mostly just waves and nods at you :)). They give you a map and a bunch of suggestions for places to visit. It was nice, especially as a female traveling solo, that I felt like I was coming home in the evening and somebody actually took note of the fact that I came back .
It's located a 2-5min walk from the citadel. The rooms are a bit older, but spacious and with a working ac and fan. The bed is comfortable and the sheets and towels are clean. The bathroom is minimalistic, the shower has nice, hot water and good water pressure.
If you are looking for a single room with a private bathroom, centrally located and at a good price, I would definitely recommend viet hostel!

The host was very welcoming. The rooms were basic but had everything that we needed. The hostel is very well situated right next to the citadel and close to many restaurants and services.

We stayed here two nights and it was an wonderful experience. It is located perfectly near the old town. Our host was very nice and helped us with every request we had. Can totally recommend it.

The female small business owner was so warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond sharing recommendations on a map that she provided after I checked in. She made recommendations based on how long I’d be there. Her walking me through recommendations really helped to shape a wonderful time in Hue.

I rated VIỆT Hostel exceptional because of the kindness and it provided what I needed. Noting this because I recognize everyone has different must haves. For me, being so close to the Imperial City and walkable from train station (20 minute walk) were my priorities. I’m glad I found a room with a hot shower and air conditioner that worked great. And really appreciate coming back to someone welcoming after days of exploring.

Noting despite the name, this is more a hotel rather than a hostel. It’s all private rooms with private bathrooms.

Depending on what you’re looking for, I’d recommend VIỆT Hostel and would stay there again.

The nicest people you could get run this lovely hotel. Super comfy beds too. The lady who runs the show is super helpful with everything and anything you could want.

hostel is very close to main atractions of a town, very helpfull host, she organised a transport for us to all of atractions and she recomended us good food:)

The owner here is very helpful and the location is fantastic, it's very reasonably priced and the rooms are very clean, I'd love to stay here again.

Địa điểm trước mặt là sông Hương, ngay sau lưng là cổng Đại nội Kinh thành Huế, ngay trung tâm thành phố, chị chủ hơi mập nhưng thân thiện, phòng sạch sẽ sự lựa chọn hàng đầu cho mọi người ghé Huế du lịch./.

Phòng tuy nhỏ nhưng rất sạch sẽ, đủ tiện nghi cần thiết, giá cả rất tốt. Chủ nhà cũng rất vui vẻ. Nhà gần Đại Nội, sông Hương, chợ Đông Ba,
và nhiều nơi ăn uống. Sau này có đi lại vẫn muốn ở đây
