Must visit sweat soups spot, try the bột lọc heo quay, strange combination but you might get addicted to it

Chè Mợ Tôn Đích is my go-to spot for sweet soup in Hue. Their Bột Lọc Heo Quay is simply the best, and their Chè Trái Cây is also top-notch. Every time I leave this sweet soup shop, I find myself eagerly plotting my return.

We loved it! A few weird looks when we entered the place (full of locals, always a good sign) but the soups were amazing! There are like 12 to choose from or you take all of them in a tray for only 80k. Highly recommended!

Famous che joint, located on main road so easy to access. Always busy. They have a "tasting platter" for anyone that never tried the sweet soup in Hue before. Worth the visit, just very tiny so make sure you can nail a seat during peak season.

They have a special dessert called “chè bột lọc heo quay” which has grilled pork belly wrapped in a chewy dough. It’s a must-try.

Other desserts are made in typical Vietnamese style, which have mixed beans, coconut, corn, banana, sweet potato, etc.

im addicted to their roasted pork tapioca which is the famous dessert of Hue. it is not that odd so give it a try and thanks me later! luckily i ordered right the time they are available, usually it's sold out quick and waiting for a new batch is nothing strange.

I really enjoyed it. Especially the tasting plate so you get to try everything.

Very busy little shop serving Che. We tried the che with tapioca and pork mince, which was very interesting. Definitely something we have never had before. Certainly worth a try!

Try the famous roasted pork sweet dessert (bot loc thit quay) when you are here! This is apparently a Hue specialty. It’s like charsiew wrapped in rice dumpling (tangyuan). The shop is near the exit of the citadel. We tried from another stall a day before and this is definitely much better.

Their che heo quay changed my life. Had it other places in Hue, this was the best.
