Saigon Morin Hotel

Beautiful old colonial hotel on the banks of the perfume River. Great access to the Citadel and the pagoda if interested. Hotel is immaculately kept up with an amazing breakfast offering. Tranquil interior courtyard with koi, trees and a restaurant. Excellent food served and prepared well at a fair price most of the day. Pool clean with areas to sit etc. Interior of the hotel is spectacular with a heavy use of local woods. Staff pleasant, professional and good to deal with. A must stay in Hue. Excellent wifi.

The Morin can be a magical step back in time.

Considering the hotel was used as a university for many decades, the Morin team have done an excellent job of recapturing it’s original essence and spirit. Being in the courtyard in the evening with the frogs singing made us feel like we were back in the 1900s!

We enjoyed having coffee in the morning from our room, overlooking the river and the busy street below.

It is superbly located for touring the many historical sites of Hue.

Learning about the history of the building and who has visited was also very interesting.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent!

Would definitely return.

I had the most amazing stay here. Our room was incredible, I felt like we were in a movie. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean, tidy and worked well. The staff were excellent and were so helpful for us. The location is unbeatable, we explored the city easily by foot. I recommend this hotel for other honeymoon travellers - book the Morin suite, it’s worth it!!

My husband and I spent a week in Hue at this hotel and loved it! Breakfast was spectacular! The room was spacious and the air conditioning was excellent. We also got massages here and they were super reasonably priced and high quality.

The service is beyond 5 star. From check-in, tour concierge to all hotel staff. Just the most friendliest, helpful and kind-hearted people that Ive experienced in any hotel!!!

The staff at this hotel were beyond helpful. The tour that the concierge helped organize was beyond what we expected and really made our stay here. She recommended great experiences and helped arrange site visits, the dragon boat ride, and dinner. The rooms were spacious and accommodated what we needed. This is also a great location for the imperial city as it is an easy walk to visit that important site.

Enjoyed my stay there. Booked a “premium room, River view.” Room was big, probably 3 times larger than my Airbnb’s in Hanoi and HCMC. 15 minute walk to the imperial city, and 5-6 to the market. Breakfast was good.

The location is amazing. In the very center of Hue. It cover one whole block. Right next to Huong river and Truong Tien bridge. Short walk to the riverside.

The rooms were amazing and historic, it stood out from the others we have seen in the city. They managed to kept the historical vibe, but uphold the quality and necessities of a modern hotel.

Recommend all to stay here and definitely would visit again!

Beautiful afternoon tea after walking around Hue during the hot afternoon. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. I just wish we were staying in this lovely hotel.

The overall presentation of this hotel is superb. Outside it displays a lovely corner street frontage which presents itself onto the beautiful Perfume river. The night life in the street out side is very vibrant and the daytime traffic is brisk. But you will certainly find lots to do in Hue - a beautiful city with plenty of history and culture.

You can even get reasonably priced river cruises - day or night.

This vintage hotel is older than… me, more than 120 years old with unique decoration by French. Located in the center of Hue city, nearby Trang Tien bridge, you can surely enjoy the ancient with this suitable priced accommodation

This is an old hotel that evokes its colonial heritage. Our room was rather large and so was the bathroom which had a bathtub as well as a separate shower stall. The location is excellent. The highlight was the buffet breakfast with a wide variety of tasty and well presented choices available.

Easy to go anywhere and very good for travellers

lovely place, fantastic hotel, very classy and you really get looked after. impressive rooms and nice looking building, great breakfast and really relaxing after a day touring the local history. Gatecrashed a wedding while we were there, they were really pleased to let us in. Vietnam has so much to see and this hotel made us feel so welcome

Nice hotel with superb view and friendly atmosphere

We paid for a day pass to use the pool here. It was reasonably priced for dong and the poolside cocktails were delicious. As with many places in Hue, the staff at this hotel is super friendly. I wish we could have stayed here, but it was totally booked. This is also the historic actual building compound that was part of the University of Hue.

Came here for dinner and didn't stay in the rooms so cannot comment on that. Dinner was very good, wide selection of Vietnamese food with great service.

What a fantastic gem of a hotel in downtown Hue! Nice pool and very friendly staff. Room and hotel were very clean and in a very convenient location to get around in the old City. They even change out rugs in the elevators depending on the time of day! Would recommend to all my friends and family.
