The combination of friendly, welcoming service and a delicious meal had us coming back two nights in a row. Highly recommend the Cau Lao and White Rose dumplings! Great price too.

Quán Cao lầu Bá Lễ was a very good traditional Vietnamese restaurant with amazing food. Every dish was delicious and had such great flavors. I highly recommend trying their white rose dumplings, mango salad, and spring rolls. This is a must go restaurant!

We ate here twice while in Hội An! The staff is very friendly and it was one of the first places we ate in Vietnam where the servers checked back to see how we were. The noodles of the cao lầu dish are made by some of the last remaining people to make these noodles by hand. A true taste of history here. Get the cao lầu, rose dumplings, and the lemon/ginger drink. Delicious!! It’s also nestled in a very scenic alleyway in the heart of old town.

Had an amazing lunch in this place.
They changed the pancake to prawns only and veggies for me. The dumplings were great too.

The owner is very friendly and taught us how to eat every dish, specialy the ban xeo wrapping it with sticks.
Food was really really good.
We had cao lau, white rose dumplings, ban xeo and wontons.

A great find down a quiet alley, service, atmosphere and food were amazing. Shame we found this place on our last night as we would have returned again. Definitely worth a visit

Highly recommend the Cao Lau and rice pancakes. Both were unreal!
The staff is also very lovely, will come back again!

Unique tasting noodles! Medium-soft bite, pairs well with the unami-packed gravy (crispy pork lard, soy sauce, fish sauce, some chilli and a squeezed lime), well-cooked pork slices and crunchy vegetables. Fried spring rolls were excellent as well - crispy and flavourful.

Great cao lau! A must try when visiting Hoi An. Super friendly staff who showed us the Vietnamese way of eating local cuisine.

My gf got the vegetarian cao lau and I got the mi quang and pork cao lau. Everything was excellent and fresh. The service was quick. When we were eating, two large groups came in and they were able to be sat and served very quickly as well.

The banh xeo was excellent! The best I've had in all of Vietnam! I would go back here everyday if I could! Highly recommend! Clean and great service as well. It's very popular, be prepared to wait just a bit for a table. This restaurant is located in the middle Alleyway (not at the beginning, do.t get confused).

What a find! I'm so glad I came here to try Hoi An's specialties - mi quang and cao lau. The best I've tried in my 4 days in Hoi An!

Cao lau (VND40K) and mi quang (VND40K) were both really good, very unique and refreshing flavours. But if i had to pick only one, I'd go for only the mi quang! Something about it just appeals more to my tastebuds!

We also ordered fried wantons (VND70K) and grilled pork (VND120K). The grilled pork were amazing! The staff were so kind to show us how to eat them - which is to wrap em up in spring roll with a bunch of fresh veggies. Love the food here!

Atmosphere was also so romantic and calm, with lots of fairy lights! Owner also came over to ask how was our meal when we were done. Amazing service!

Nice place. Food very god but little bit overpriced because of small portions (except Cao lau which is 40.000 VND) compared to similar places. Very fast and helpful service(although was almost full).

Great restaurant to try some of Hoi An's dishes, well priced, friendly, and very tasty. This was recommended by our hotel guide and didn't disappoint.

Place sells the traditional Mi quang & cao lau, in the olden days they used the water from the ba le well to make the noodles. Had the same noodles at stores near the river, they are all imitations with poor taste.

Best cao lao and white rose in hoi anh by far! I've tried cao lao at 3 other highly rated restaurants and they werent even close to this one. Do yourself a favour and eat as much as you can at this place, you wont regret it.

Nice atmosphere and the friendly waitress gave a brief demo and explanation of the foods and spices we were eating. The Cao Lâo was simply delicious. The barbecue was tender. The rose dumplings were slightly bland which a little soya sauce easily fixed. Lemongrass drink rounded up the meal

Absolute gem of a place tucked back in an alley off of one of the busier tourist streets. This little family ran restaurant is easily one of my favorites in all of Vietnam. Friendly, fun service. And absolutely WONDERFUL food! Come here for a bite. You won’t be disappointed. Best Cao Lâu in Hoi An too!

We had the crispy pancake rolled in rice paper, it was delicious, very high quality rice paper and the pancake was the perfect crispiness. It was served with peanut sauce for dipping which I prefer over fish sauce. The restaurant is in an alley with cute lanterns everywhere, very inviting atmosphere

This is a highlight of our trip. The food is incredible here. One of us has a seafood allergy and the staff were great in giving us options and making sure everything was fine. Service across the whole time we were there was excellent. Staff were super friendly and the food amazing and very cheap! Well worth it!
