The Purple Hue BnB_Central Hub

Really really really nice accommodation in Hue at an excellent location in the city! Even though the accommodation is on a fairly busy street, the rooms are quiet. We loved the rooms with its very comfortable bed! The WiFi was excellent and super fast too. But the best thing was the staff, after we arrived they shared a Google List with us with points to visit and places to eat at 😄. Also when we asked for recommendations for good coffee and breakfast we were not disappointed at all! If we come back to Hue we will for sure stay here. If you you’re looking for a great stay in Hue this is the one!!

One of the best hotels I have been in our whole trip around Vietnam! The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and they even have a huge selection of imported beers in the bar. They rent motorbikes and tours as well. 10/10!

Great rooms, nice and clean. Lovely shower 🚿 staff were so lovely and helpful. We had actually booked another hotel but they cancelled our room in the morning (due to a water problem). Purple were super accommodating and responded really quickly. The bar downstairs is brilliant, lots of beers on offer. Definitely recommend.

It’s my second day here, I haven’t checked out yet and I’m already very impressed by the place and the staff. Even before I got here Lee sent me a curated Google maps with all his recommendations for food, tourist attractions and more. I’ve had a room with a balcony which was nice . The location is very central. Lots of lovely restaurants and cafes around. Lee helped me with absolutely everything, laundry, getting a last minute ride for my visits, arranging early breakfast.. The bonus is having a wide range of craft beers, IPA’s, local and international drinks in the same building. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

The place is really beautiful and have great location. We didn’t try the bar but there is a good selection of beer.

The host is really nice and helpful. He gave us nice tips to visit the city and help us to find bike in last minute.

Lee is a great host and very personable. He made our stay in Hue very enjoyable and the beds were incredibly comfortable. There is also a nice pub/bar downstairs. Would recommend the location as well.

Honestly the best stay I ever had in Vietnam- I booked an additional night because I loved it so much.
Super friendly people that help you with anything, great location close to cool cafes, walkable to the citadel and also two walking streets. The room is beautiful and thoughtfully equipped. And the best thing - the bed was super comfortable (especially for Asia!).
Lee and his team are very considering and even have pinned tips on a Google maps list for you to make the best out of your time.
Laundry service worked perfectly as well.

Honestly one of the best hotel in Vietnam so far! Room was perfectly cleaned and the bed was super comfortable.

This is a great place to spend a few nights. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and have all the amenities you need. The owner is super friendly and helped me book my onward travel to Phong Nha. There's a bar downstairs that's a great place to grab a drink, relax, and hang out with a few other travelers. Recommended!

Lee was an amazing host for our stay here, especially considering Hue experienced severe flooding during our stay. The location was great with easy walking access to most things. We were provided with detailed information on all there was to see/do in Hue. All the staff were extremely friendly and had great English and communication skills. The food and beer was good and the rooms were very clean.

Many reviews I read before booking highlight how wonderful Lee (the host) is - we couldn't agree more! He is so kind, friendly, flexible, patient and accommodating. He was always very responsive to messages and was ALWAYS happy to help us with anything we needed. He had many suggestions of things to do in Hue and organised very worthwhile tours for us.

Had a nice stay here. Hotel was in a great location. Lee was really informative,helpful and kind. He sorted recommendations of where to go for food and sightseeing and helped us book a bus to our next destination.

We had such a great stay with Lee at the Purple. He was so helpful with a Google map guide, and all the advice around we could ask for around being in Hue for a short period of time.

The rooms were really clean and comfy and we were were in a great location. The craft beer bar in the lobby was a great touch.

Cant recommend staying there anymore. We’ll definitely be back if we return to Hue.

If you want to feel safe & welcome then stay here. Lee gave us the most warm welcome in our trip so far. Clear explanations upon arrival with a Google map list filled with all relevant places around, including tourist attractions, (vegan/vegetarian) restaurants, atms, etc.

The hub became a safe space for us to return to after exploring the city and it's surroundings. Every recommendation by Lee lived up to its expectation.

When we left the travel agency he worked with came over to wait with us for the bus, while they gave us fun insights into Vietnam, Hoi An and the trip ahead.

Lastly it's good to mention the high level of English from Lee and the first high speed wifi we experienced, actually loading every website like we were used to back home.

Thanks again Lee for the lovely stay, if we're ever back in Hue, this is the place we'll stay.

I can truly recommend this place! The room was big and bed very comfortable and clean . We got balcony and small fridge, tv, AC, hairdryer etc. The service is very kind and polite always smile and welcoming. If you planning to travel from this place please ask staff for help they very helpful and know super options to travel 😊

Lee and Tai were so helpful, giving advice on what to do, where to eat, calling Grabs for us, securing our motorbike, and even offering to help us with anything after we checked out. Rooms were big and had mini fridge. The mattress was awesome.

The hotel is run by a very kind and energetic young couple, so it has a very cheerful atmosphere.
The reason I gave the room a 4 is because it is an old apartment that has been renovated, so it doesn't feel upscale.However, it is a warm room that gives you a tasteful old-fashioned feel.

Good hotel with friendly staff. They had good tips for dining out. At street level there is a bar with a very tasty selection of Vietnamese beers and ciders!

Compact room, delicate decoration, well-equipped stuff (water, hairdryer, toiletries, umbrella, TV, etc.), good location, nice staff. Would recommend it if you stay overnight in Hué.

Hello! This hotel is such an amazing place to stay and i could not recommend it more highly. My friend i stayed here back in june this year and this whole time ive been meaning to write a review. i'm sorry to the owners that im writing it so late but still 5 months later i have continued to rave on about it. We were travelling vietnam for a month and was only here for one night but this was one of the best places we stayed! the staff was so accomodating and the service was incredible. they gave us so many great recommendations of what to do in hue. and the rooms were beautiful and clean. the next day we left early as we were catching a train but the train had big delays so we went back to purple hue and the staff member was so helpful. he leant us his bike for the day to go around and explore and he also helped us to find another way to get to where we were heading. purple hue central hub was an amazing stay and we absolutely loved it so if you're looking for somewhere to stay hue definitely stay here! i wanted to say thank you again and i'm so sorry that i'm writing this review 5 months later but i still think about how nice this place was and i keep telling everyone back at home about this experience. we will definitely be staying here again if we come back! thank you, liv 😄
