Absolutely delicious. We came here 10 yrs ago and now back in Vietnam on holiday we have sought this lovely restaurant out. It is just as fabulous as it was last time we were here and great value for money. Our chicken with lemongrass and chilli was amazing as was the green papaya and mango salad. Yum! The best food in Vietnam. We will be back

The owner of Cafe 43 makes his own IPA and brews on site. It’s very good IPA and definitely worth a try. Lovely family run business.

The food and beer were very good. The craft beer on the signage was what caught our eyes, and the beer was brewed on site and lived up to the sign. Friendly staff, cheap, fresh and good quality food. Food felt authentic and full of flavour.

I've found recommendation of this place somewhere online, and it was worth 15min walk from the river. Delicious food, nice presentation of dishes, very good prices. We tried four classic dishes of Hoi An region, all very tasty. They have a lot of vegetarian options. I honestly recommend.

Delicious vietnamese food, the best we ate in Vietnam; the staff was very kind and polite with us, location was cool, not in the center so calm. Also prices were good.

Great service, took us in with a smile after closing hours. The food was really good, and amazing draft home brew.

First went here for lunch after looking at the Google reviews and in particular vegetarian options for my friend. The food was excellent, service attentive and well priced. Had hoi an specialties of cau Lau and white rose. Because we enjoyed the food so much, we organised a cooking class for the next day. It's ~300k vnd per person for the class, plus the menu cost of the meals you cook. Meals are chosen off the menu, you arrive to ingredients already gathered for you and then spend 2-3 hours cooking under their supervision and enjoying the meals you cook! Delicious food and larger serves than if you order off the menu. All round an excellent place and well worth the walk from town to experience.

So we came here for lunch one day and it's some of the best food you can get in the area, very tasty, reasonably priced. We also noticed that they to a cooking class here to. So we went ahead and booked it for the next day. Long story short it was amazing. We was with another couple who also booked. The best thing is you get to choose what you want to cook and the lady there will show you step by step how to do it. It takes about 2+ hours so do take that in mind. Also you cook a lot so make sure your hungry. I would recommend cooking what they recommend as it's some of the best and it's nice to learn there local dishes.

Cosy cafe/restaurant with really nice food. We had some spring rolls, bah mi and the local speciality noodle dish of which I forgot the name. We really liked it.

Best food I’ve had in Vietnam. They have an extensive menu with vegan and vegetarian options too, also willing to do substitutions and may I say with a smile. Service and food were sublime, they even took the time to explain me how to roll a rice pancake (bánh xèo) which I deeply recommend. I also had eggplant cooked in a clay pot, which was absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and when in Hôi An eat here.

Located pretty much across from our Homestay, this little cafe caught my heart instantly. The menu is perfect not overwhelming so it‘s easy to choose. I picked the Papayasalad which was not from this world. To go along with my salad I had a long Island Ice tea which was great. The Choice of other Cocktails is splendid. So if you are around and feel hungry feel free to stop by you won‘t regret it.

We took a cooking class with Hien after having a great diner here. It was such a wonderful time, Hien was so patient with us and had great advice ! If you're willing to pay more, you can also go to the market with her, just ask! We 100% recommend!

I really recommend this restaurant, don't miss it! The best one we had in Vietnam and also one of the cheapest. We went here two times and also took there cooking class. A solid 5/5.

We had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp/chicken, sweet and sour with shrimp/chicken, chicken with vegetables and cashew nuts, papaya salad, garlic bread and morning glory.
All dishes had a unike taste and were really good and I sincerely believe that whatever dish you choose it will be great.

Sweet and sour was different from most other sweet and sour we had had, this were more fresh. Try it!
Morning glory was served with a lot of peanuts, yummi!
Papaya with shrimps salad were full av peanuts and very filling.

Dishes are about 50K and they have very cheap fresh bear!

Cooking class is 150K per person plus the cost of the dishes in the menu. Really cheap and nice cooking class and definitely worth it! We were just two people and the cook. Pictures are from cooking class.

We stopped into Cafe 43 for lunch based on the great Google reviews, and it didn’t disappoint! The spring rolls and Cao Lau were fresh and full of flavour, as was the mango smoothie. The staff were also very lovely and attentive, and the restaurant and amenities were clean. Would recommend!

My partner and I took the cooking class at Cafe 43. We saw many positive reviews online and thought it was a bargain for 250,000 per person!! Everything was very clean and our chef was clear with the instructions. There were 3 of us all together taking the class and we had so much fun. Food was AMAZING. We chose chicken spring rolls, beef noodles and sweet and sour chicken. Our chef also made us a dessert after the cooking class!! Would definetly recommend, amazing experience at an amazing price!

Amazing local beer! The best of I had in Vietnam so far :) The only place in Hoi An where you can try homemade IPA.
Definitely recommend!
