Feels surreal. Rare opportunity to be in this surrounding and to catch the amazing views. However do keep in mind that the weather (and visibility) is unpredictable; can change within minutes. Definitely grateful to experience the sun and blue sky, along with the clouds and fog. Be prepared and bring warm clothing.

Breathtaking cable car ride. Natural beauty. Every where you turn, its green and mountains. Beautiful view and nicely done pathway to climb. Finally the view from the tram is unexplainable.

Must visit place if you are Sapa. 5-6 hrs day trip. Well maintained. Take care of your health while climbing. Use ropeway on the last leg for up and can walk down.

Known as fansipan is a must go if you visit SAPA (Vietnam)
A bit expensive compared with the country prices, but worth it.
Take a jacket just in case, when we went was a bit cold and windy due the altitud.

Worth the visit! The view is awesome! Just that will need a bit of luck to see clear sky and sea of clouds

Fansipan is Amazing! The cable car ride up the mountain gives nice views of rice paddies below, and waterfalls on the way up. Once there, if you want to limit the climbing there is a funicular that takes you almost to summit. Then it’s a short climb to the summit at 3,143 meters / 10,312 ft, the highest in Indochine region.

The weather up here is very unpredictable, it may be sunny at the bottom of mountain and covered in clouds at the summit. To be sure, you should bring jackets and rain gear as its windy up there and rainy at times. But the clouds are the constant. You are so high you are essentially “in the clouds” or above them. So we had to wait 2 hours for 3 brief 5 seconds of “cloud clearance” to get some amazing shots of this mountain top.

This is a must-see if you are in Sapa area!

Please please don't ever miss this place if you are ever in Sa Pa. Our tour leader recommended coming in the afternoon because the weather more often than not is not good in the morning meaning you come up and see nothing. But coming in the afternoon also won't guarantee a clear weather so it really depends on the weather.

The view is magnificent! Truly one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. To go to the peak you can either climb the stairs or ride the furnicular. It costs 200, 000 VND return and 120, 000 VND one way. I climb my way up and use the furnicular down but I recommend use the furnicular up and use the stairs your way down. Worth it I tell you even at the end of it I couldn't even feel my legs LOL.

There is also a cafe at the peak and you can enjoy a variety of coffee and drinks pricing ranging from 85, 000 VND and above while enjoying the view.

One of the most beautiful and well managed tourist attractions.
The monorail and the cable car ride is breathtaking. Once you reach the summit you don't want to leave. The Buddha statue is beautiful and magnanimous. Spend some time at the statue to feel closer to the divine.

Phan Xi Pang aka Fansipan, is the highest peak mountain in Indochina region. With in elevation of about 3120 metres. In 2016 they built a world class cable car system. And has to climb many steps at the top, optionally there is a Funicular car system that talked you from near the cable car end to the top. It's supposed to be spiritual and Vietnams highest point. It's very cold at the top and very strong winds can blow. The Pagoda and the Buddha statue and the temple are all good to visit. At the pinnacle they have a few photo points

The view could be amazing... but somehow its quite cloudy once i arrived at the Muang Hoa station below.. The journey to the fansipan was fairly clear but then it was cloudy and windy in the peak..

I should be patient and start going up late in the afternoon (as per suggestion) but it was foggy in Sapa and a little bit rain. It was sunny when i am going down ( in Muang Hoa and Sapa).

You should prepare a jacket, just in case..

Very good facilities to reach on top. It was cloudy atmosphere & heavy rain when we reached on top. Could not see valley view but enjoyed.

Amazing and surreal when you reach the peak. Being surrounded by clouds gives you a peaceful feel. While there may be lots of other people trying to capture a picture at the summit, they are generally orderly and will wait in turn. Definitely worth going all the way up!
