Thành Nam Quán ( 탄 남 콴 ) Vietnamese Restaurant

A cosy little restaurant in a narrow alley, but chef cooks with heart and flavours are bursting with “wok hey” (wok fragrance). Specially recommend the stir fried glass noodles and also wonton soup. If you crave comfort food, soup noodles (both beef and chicken) will satisfy your palate after a long day’s walk.

Owners were extremely friendly and attentive to us, and made sure we had small bowls to share the food with the family.

I was looking for a good and highly reviewed place to have some beef pho during my trip to Hoi An.

I am glad I found this place. I went to eat at about 2.30pm, so there wasn’t anyone.

I was very pleased with the presentation of the food, and the taste of both the soup and beef!

I should have said less Pho, as the noodles was too much for me.

I also asked for help from the shop owner on where I can find Vietnamese pancakes, and she directed me to another shop down the road.

This Pho was so much better than a chain restaurant I tried in HCMC.

Highly recommend you to try. The soup was refreshing, light, yet flavourful.

The best food we've eaten in Asia so far! So fresh and SO good. We were sadly only here two nights, but we went both nights for dinner and we were just as impressed both times. You have to try the Beef in Betel Leaf. It's amazing. The Pho is also amazing. We had 6 different dishes and every single one was just as good as the next. We wish that we could have come more so that we could have had everything on the menu. The owners are also very friendly! A great place to try out some Vietnamese food at great prices and delicious flavours!

Unbelievable Pho bo and Pho bo ap chao. Absolutely loved the flavors. Hot and fresh. Also highly recommend the Fried egg with pork!!

Lovely and delicious. Nothing beats eating in someone else's home. A cozy little restaurant where you can get authentic vietnamese home cooked food, friendly service and some peace just outside the hustle of the city center.

Coming from the north of Vietnam down to do the south and I must say this has been the best PHO I have had so far.

First off, owners are very friendly and kind which is an absolute bonus.

The beef pho is piping hot and very fresh! Full of beef broth flavour and most importantly very clean. Usually, I find the both at other pho places a little too oily but this one is clear and DELICIOUS.

An absolute gem in hoi an if you're looking for a HOT BOWL HOTBOWL.

Amazing!! Best meal we’ve had 10 days into travelling through Vietnam. Full of flavour, a very cosy atmosphere, plus a friendly little dog that sits out front. This restaurant is a must-visit if you are passing through Hoi An!!

한국인들 진짜 강추 존맛탱레알현지맛입니다.무조건가보세요 제인생식당이예요!!!The review I wrote before is erased and I am writing again. This is the best restaurant in Vietnam. The seafood fried rice, buncha and garlic shrimp are fantastic, so we visited for two consecutive days because it was so delicious.
The host couple are so kind and have excellent food skill.
The female owner is very good at English so she communicates well. Their children are so lovely and the staff-girls are also very kind. This is a warm and delicious restaurant that I will never forget in my life, and if you do not go to this restaurant in Vietnam, you will regret it.

Great food, definitely the best Vietnamese dish I had in my 2 weeks in Vietnam so far. Should not be missed when visiting Hoi An.

If I could put 6 stars I would! Absolutely best place to eat in Hoi An, cannot recommend more! Garlic Shrimps and Passion Fruit Shrimps are to die for but everything we tried was amazing. And its already our second time here

So good we keep coming back. Ha Noi bun cha, the best spring rolls we have had in our travels in Vietnam so far, and lovely coconut coffee. Very small restaurant (although there is small additional seating two doors away), freshly cooked food (so you might have to wait a bit), friendly service (with English menu), a cute dog and very clean premises.
