Old Garden Restaurant (Vườn Xưa)

A lovely family run restaurant down one of the most quaint hidden streets in Hoi An. The owners mother does the cooking and he does the service. All our Food was excellent, in particular our Hoi A Pork Noodle soup, Morning Glory, Pork and Shrimp dumplings, and Fresh Spring Rolls. Beer and drinks also very reasonable - all in all a loverly evening. Thank you 🙏🏻

Wonderful restaurant hidden down an alley in the Old Town in Hoi An!

Recommended by the guide from the tour we were on earlier in the day... We were a little skeptical when we arrived, but boy were we wrong!!

I had the shrimp won ton soup, it was sooo good my 12year old kept stealing spoonfuls!

My husband had the Hoi An noodles with Shrimp and says they were the best noodles he's had since arriving in Vietnam (we've been here for 25 days so far).

Vegetarian & vegan options available too!

The food was one of the best I tried during my trip in Vietnam! The place is charming, just a few steps away from busy streets of the ancient town. Very kind and nice owners, felt extremely comfortable thanks to them. Thank you for the homemade chili gift! We wanted to eat here again today, but can't make it because our bus departs early in the morning :(

I ordered Mi Quang and chicken rice and they were both really good. The woman who served and cooked for us was a grandma and she's adorable! Her cooking reminds me of my grandma who passed away over a decade ago. Thank you for reminding me of my grandma through your delicious food!

Great place. I can account for the Banana Flower Salad, Quang Nam Noodle and Cao Lau with chicken: all delicious. The staff is lovely and the place is located in a quiet shady alley. Can’t wait to be back.

Lovely chilled restaurant with a fair priced menu. Food was delicious, 2 mains a side of spring rolls and 2 beers came to 270,000. The portions were also very generous. To top things off, it was raining when we were leaving and they gave us both free ponchos. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this place! Great food, friendly staff, and a nice calm atmosphere with a cool tree hanging pink roots down from the ceiling. Australian Family of 4 with 2 kids (5 and 7). Our kids are picky eaters, and they really liked this restaurant. They ate their dinners and even tried ours. Which is a big deal for our little first-time travellers.

Do yourself a favour and come to this restaurant! Delicious and very reasonably priced food in a quiet side lane. They have cold beer and big fans making a welcome refuge from the heat and noise from the main streets.
The Cao Lao, white rose dumplings and garlic fried morning glory were 10/10

I went here because i wanted some regional food and it definitely delivered. I got some great recommendations from the kind host and after serving my food they provided me with thier homemade chili sauce, which was one of the best I've ever had. I even ended up taking some home with me.

Definitely check this place out, the food is great and so is the service, not something you can get at another place!!

Great local Vietnamese restaurant. Whilst it looks a bit dodgy as it’s down an ally way it had great customer service along with delicious and affordable local food. Highly recommended.

Peaceful place, very quiet. Staff was very kind. No expensive. I had terrible digestive problems and the old lady from the establishment offered me her own medicine. No pills helped, only when I took medicine from the old lady, she helped me a lot. Thank you very much if you're reading this. 🫶

A hidden gem recommended by the locals, somewhat off the main street (you may want to ask around.) Don't get fooled by the simple appearance - the local food was so delicious I had to eat 2 dinners. Make sure to check out the tamarind fried shrimps - and then some more!

Highly recommend this restaurant! Down a laneway, so make sure to stop and take a look. Great food and service. Must visit!!

We have had many Hoi An White Rose dishes in town, but this place got to be the best so far!
