Beautiful scenery, right by the beach with paved walkway along the coast.

It’s an interesting and creative tourist attraction in Quang Ninh. There’re many kind of species of the mountain and the sea. Besides, you can study about the development of Quang Ninh’s history and culture from ancient time until now. Ticket price was 40000 VND per person.

Not crowded when I visit. I got to learn a little bit more about Ha Long in this Museum.

A large museum. I visited in December when parts were being renovated. There were various themed displays including coal mining (with a delightful, working model of a mine and a walk-through tunnel), musical instruments, war exhibits, natural history, etc..

a 3 in 1 museum about nature (first floor) around quang ninh province and the country, history (second floor), and culture (third floor - includes the coal mines that are abundant and only found in and around quang ninh district, and traditional handicraft and instruments etc)

We loved the museum, plus the hands on printing was a bonus, the staff are friendly and helpful, its a great experience! They open at 9am- 12 midday then reopen

The architecture is nice. It is recommended for both locals and tourists to go and learn some new stuff about Quang Ninh province.

The museum shows up the historical species from the Halong Bay, their wildlife and also the artillary being used in the war. It teaches a lot about Vietnam, it's people and it's history. If you are fond of knowing about history and facts then this place should not be a miss.

The bay is just at the adjacent to the museum so you can have a great view is small Islands of Halong Bay.

Opens at around 10 AM & ticket priced at 20.000 vnd per person.

Great architecture, it symbolizes charcoal which is the main income stream for the area/city

Historical and cultural museum. They really have nice sections with detail information about Vietnam war, Tran Dynasty, culture and many more. Some of the informations are only available in local language.

The museum is extremely well curated with the geographical, flora and fauna, traditional, occupational, war and arts history of Ha Long Bay and Vietnam.

Worth visiting. Make sure to get the map of the museum and better to ask for a tour guide. The museum has a beautiful architecture with so many Instagrammable angles, both in and outside.

A nice place for someone interested in history. It deserves to be given more publicity by the Vietnamese government.

Lots of things to see here. Worth money, especially the place where they demostrated how the workers produced the coal. Very impressive!
The only thing I dont like is the tour guide. She talked so fast that I couldnt not follow what she was talking about.

Quite surprising to find this gem of a museum in q provincial town as it easily rivals the best museums in Saigon and Hanoi.

Ultra modern building, exhibits well labelled (in English!) And expansive, covering the entire gamut from archaeology to zoology.

The real shame is the bulk of International tourists will travel in a cruise package to Halong Bay from Hanoi and return immediately afterwards.

Well worth the effort and the 40k entrance fee

Probably very interesting place to explore but I don't recommend go in a tour. Two hours for a visit is not enough.

Wonderful time with my family, i enjoyed when they were talking about the Vietnam
war and everyone kept looking at me 😂
