Really nice place to have some food and a cheap cold beer, chill out around the monument gate/pond or whatever the place is called 🙃
Get some minced clams and/or smashing rice paper with a beer and you'll love your time here!
Ran by a super nice and friendly family. Totally recommended!

Edit: just wanted to give some credit to the neighbouring Lenco Cafe for a nice music and a good vibes too! (tables are almost touching with Quan Can Nam, but I just wanted to support less developed business) thanks guys!

had the Cao Lau noodles VND 35k, wonton noodle soup 40k, wet + fried smashing rice paper with fermented fish dipping sauce 20k (bit disappointed by this one as no advertised fish sauce in sight, just the usual fish sauce you get everywhere), and their specialty Hen Tron 50k (stir fried minced clams in spices and veggies served with crispy fried rice paper). Very home style cooking, good flavours, good prices. Nice seating under their lanterns. Worth visiting!

I was looking for local Central Vietnamese food in Hoi An and I am so glad that I found this. The best local food in Hoi An no doubt, especially the Hen Tron (Stir-fried mussels with vege) and Cao Lau. The meat in Cao Lau is so flavourful. And the mussels and vege blend really well! Oh, the old uncle serving us is really friendly. This place needs more recognition!

Loved the Cao Lau here! The best I had in Hoi An. The white rose dumplings are delicious as well. Definitely stop by for some authentic local food.

Hidden, under the radar local restaurant with delicious food. We had the cao lau, mi quang, wonton noodle soup, white rose and clam snack. All were very tasty. The cao lau in particular was the best we tried in Hoi An, compared to two other places, so we ordered another.

A small family business by the small walkway. An elderly man would usher and welcome you in from the main road. They serve good mi quang, cao lao, and house specialty ice lemon tea at reasonable pricing. 👍

Small place off the main street. Ate the Cau lou, Mi Quang and Wanton soup. All very tasty and better than another that I have earlier nearby.

The food here was amazing. We kept ordering more bowls.

Wir haben das Lokal nur durch Zufall gefunden, da es sich in einer Seitenstraße befindet und wir von dem Besitzer (nehme ich an), der an der Hauptstraße stand hingeführt wurden. Die Gerichte waren einfach, günstig, lecker und die Portionen waren nicht zu groß.
Vor allem den Kumquat tea und das Mi Quang können wir wärmstens empfehlen.

Hến ngon, cuốn tôm thịt kèm với mắm nêm ăn xuất sắc, trà tắc ngon lắm ạ, cô chú thân thiện dễ thương 😍

1. Nhận xét 4 món đã gọi:
- Hến trộn: 5* ; lúc ăn các bạn nên dùng thêm nước mắm đi kèm.
- Cơm hến: không ngon nhất trong 4 món nhưng bù lại canh cải nấu nước hến kèm theo rất ngon, ngọt, dậy mùi hến rất thơm.
- Mì quảng: ngon như các quán mì khác :)
- Bánh đập: cái này xuất sắc ở mắm cá cơm. Miếng đầu thấy mùi mắm hơi nồng, nhưng đến miếng thứ hai trở đi khi quen mùi thì rất ngon, đậm đà ...
Bác gái chủ quán thì rất thân thiện nữa.

Quán ở ngay phố cổ, gần Chùa Bà Mụ. Từ đầu ngõ 679 Hai Bà Trưng đi thẳng vào chừng 10 mét là tới.
- Đây là quán ăn gia đình. Đồ ăn ngon, giá cả hợp lý và có phần rẻ hơn ở quán khác.
- Không gian quán nhỏ xinh, buổi tối ngồi ăn dưới dãy đèn lồng thì đẹp hết nấc. Trưa thì hơi nóng nên vắng hơn, quán cũng cất bớt bàn ghế đi nữa. Ở đối diện quán có sân khuôn viên lát đá đẹp lắm.

- Các món chính mọi người nên gọi là: Hến trộn, cơm gà, cao lầu, mì Quảng, nước cam, chè bắp.
(Bạn nào thích ăn hến thì mới nên gọi hến trộn, không thì ăn mấy món khác sẽ thấy ngon hơn nhá. Món bánh đập không có gì đặc sắc. Nước cam ngon)

Quán hẻm nhưng khá dễ tìm, vì là quán gia đình nên đồ ăn ngon và chị chủ cực kỳ thân thiện, nhất là món cao lầu, ăn 1 tô là phải kêu thêm tô nữa
