Best meal I had in Vietnam! Plus such a nice atmosphere and very reasonably priced for such good quality of food. Particular highlights include salted shrimp, pork and shrimp in clay pot and wontons. Plus lovely cocktails!

At first thought this place was a hectic food court but turned out to be very efficient and organized with very delicious food! We absolutely loved the morning glory which was all kinds of umami and the dumplings and vermicelli we ordered. We came back a second time after being overwhelmed by the street vendors outside and ordered the wraps and enjoyed them as well. Highly recommend!

Best snapper I’ve ever had! Forgot to take a photo, but I promise you it’s delish! You wrap it up into rice paper and herbs/veggies. The flavor is all in the snapper… yum! We loved the garlic morning glory and dumplings too.

The food was delicious and good sized portions! The service was good and there was live music entertainment.
Dishes were reasonably priced for the food quality. More expensive than a street vendor but that's to be expected in a restaurant.

We worried that it may not be great due to its central location but boy were we wrong!! Amazing food and good service. Best whole snapper I have had (except for Chiang Mai perhaps). ! Interesting dumpling combo .. and hubby liked the stuffed squid.

Went for a cooking lesson with my colleagues. Tam/“sweetheart”, as she wanted us to address her by, was a really good instructor. Team was very professional and the food is yummy.

We made for dishes, a soup, a crispy pancake, grilled chicken and salad.

Enjoying our last meal for 2023 at Vy’s Market Restaurant, we found the food to be excellent and very well presented. Set up like market stall vendors, this restaurant has a great atmosphere with a good variety of traditional dishes on the menu. Next time in Hoi An, we would definitely like to take the cooking classes that are also conducted here.

Came in with a large group, so many food options 😋 some of the meals were massive! Not alot of information on the menu, but all the meals delivered. Drinks were good.

Really cool concept restaurant. The place is located right in the busy heart of the night market. It's set up with multiple, observable, cooking stations for different styles of food, reflecting the way the streetfood vendors are set up outside at the market. From BBQ to frying to sweets... The food is nicely presented, in part with a lovely twist to elevate, but without being pretentious. It certainly gives an unmistakable nod to its humble origins and relationship to the traditional streetfood available outside.
The usual rice paper being eschewed for rice-noodle mats to roll the pork and shredded vegetables in was genius, inviting the diner to participate in the final construction of the meal, in the same way that traditional Vietnamese food so often does.
Overall, the food was excellent and well balanced. The sounds and smells spilling over from the night market were an immediate reminder of the dishes' origins and the live guitar music and decor provided a wonderful atmosphere.

I docked a star from the service, which was attentive in the beginning, but dropped to zero after we moved inside due to rain. I was waiting for a menu to choose desert, but (annoyingly) it never came, so we went and paid up and got a dessert elsewhere.

Another criticism, especially for a restaurant where the kitchen stations are under full public scrutiny of diners, was that we observed one of the chefs tasting the food straight off the chopsticks she was cooking with (they went straight from her mouth back into the pan). Both from an optics and hygiene point of view, especially post-covid, this would be an unacceptable practice in my kitchen. I docked a second service star for that.

We did the bicycle tour and cooking class and I couldn’t recommend it more. Bon was our guide on the bike tour and through the cooking demonstrations - he was easy to understand, and very informative. All the stops were fun and more than I expected.
The cooking class is in a beautiful room where they set up all the equipment for you. Mrs Moon was a great instructor and helped us cook delicious dishes. I was so happy with our decision to book this tour.

*I also want to add how accommodating they were to others within our class that had dietary restrictions, as well as their ability to keep 10 people safe riding bikes through the busy city* 👍

Vy's Market Restaurant is a place with a buffet option for groups.
While their pho is delicious, it's lacking in the flavor of soup, but the meat is tender and flavorful. Satay menu is plentiful and varieties are available, such as chicken and duck. I also recommend the banh mi since it's one of Vietnam's traditional dishes. The buffet offers many delicious dishes, although not as plentiful as an a la carte menu.
Staff is friendly, although kitchen staff may not speak English. You can always seek the help from the waitress since the waitress could mostly speak English.
The atmosphere is pleasant with the presence of ceiling fans and a pleasant interior design.

Where do I start! The cooking class with Moon was so much fun with insightful information on how to prepare the simplest of meals.
She was precise and prepared to answer all questions. I had such a blast learning cuz the kitchen isn't my ministry.
We also got to meet Mrs Vy herself in person. She was so sweet and a pleasure to meet.
We came back later to eat at the restaurant. The portions were huge. The food was tasty but a bit spicy for my liking.
Only thing I didn't like were the vendors coming in and hounding you on purchasing their merchandise. Other than that... Vy's should be a spot to stop and visit.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Vv's Market Restaurant in Hói Ań. The must-try dish I savored for dinner surpassed expectations, blending exquisite flavors that left a lasting impression. The welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of Marché's friendly concept, added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend for those seeking delicious cuisine and a warm dining environment.

Very good and tasty food, nice personal. Live music in the evening. Fresh ingridients. There is a Deli on the other side of the restaurant, almost the same food just with higher prices.
Highly recommend!

My mum and I have visited VY’s Market Restaurant a few times during our stay in Hoi An and it has been lovely! We did a cooking class with Moon, and she was just incredible. I highly recommend the cooking class, as the market tour with Bond was very informative and the food we made was just incredible. We also ate at a few of the restaurants inside and the atmosphere and food was incredible as well. Thank you to all the lovely staff for creating a 5 star experience!
