Miss Lien Thao

We have been visiting Miss Liên for many years and a beautiful friendship has developed. Although we always want to try a different cuisine, we always choose it. The atmosphere is very familiar and warm. She fulfills our almost every wish. she is the best cook in Hoi An.

5-star local food experience! We got the white rose and it was possible to make it just with shrimp and no other meat (we’re pescatarian). We also had fried tofu and an omelette with the potatoes salad. Delicious, affordable and bit further away from the big tourist groups!

Good and cheap food. Friendly service by Miss Lien Thao. Had the fresh spring rolls (VND40K), stirfried prawn noodles (VND50K) and mango lassi (VND20K).

Was not disappointed!!

Owner was very kind and friendly. Food took a while to be served as it is a one-woman show. However, the food was tasty and so delicious! I really loved it. Felt so satisfied after eating here!

Awesome food at a leggit hawker in Hôi An - we had the catch of the day (fried fish with lemongrass in banana leaf) and the local Cao Lâu specialty noodles. Dessert was passion fruit on the house 🩷 xx

This is a small restaurant by the sidewalk in Hoi An ancient town but the quality is huge. The owner lady is very kind anf she served me the best Cao Lầu I ever had so far. I wish I had more time to enjoy more dishes of Miss Lien Thao. Price is super good.
The restaurant is located in quite a hidden area, it doesn't have as many guests as it should do.

Best place to try vegetarian versions of Vietnamese dishes. I ordered the Vegetarian Pho and Fresh Summer Rolls- absolutely delicious. Plus the Miss Lien Thau, the lady who was making the food and greeting the customers was so super sweet.
The place is basically located in a food court type of setting, but the vibe was still pleasant.
The food is highly recommended and is very reasonable for the price.

Amazing food, some of the best I’ve ever had in Vietnam. We almost tried every dish, the wanton taco style dish was my favorite, had pineapple on top was a sweet and sour extravaganza! Really cheap local food and every friendly staff that speak English. The spring rolls were also one of my favorite dishes! #BeatTheGrind

Great place at the end of the busy street. Great price, great service. Probably one of the most authentic and best tasting meals we had in Hoi An! Also have a mango smoothie! Delish!

I had the fried wonton with beef and it was an explosion of flavour! Definitely a starter/lunch dish but that is to take nothing away from the dish. At 50K its a brilliant price for a little snack.

Would highly recommend this little string of restaurants to anyone wanting to sample good local cuisine!

Veey good food, much cheaper than restaurants just right the corner, we've even received free fruits for dessert. Very friendly and kind people, pleasure to support their business.

Really grateful that we found this place which is a gem! We were eating there everyday during our stay in Hoi An! Highly recommend this place! This lady was super nice and kind! Made out stay in Hoi An very special and gave us the chance to have authentic Vietnamese food!

My partner took the chicken wonton and I took the vegan pho. I didnt try the wonton because I am vegan but I can definetely say that the vegan pho was very yummy, and it was a big portion - we both ended up very full just with one dish. Additionally, they served some passionfruit without any cost, which is a really nice detail. Both dishes and two beers where 130k dong, so cheap and so yummy!

It is a couple years back that I remembered this place (or was it Mr. Ba next doors?). Tried for years to search for the recipe for wontons, never got it right. It was a deliciousness we still remember to these days. If any of you guys could ask the owner for the recipe (or if owner reads this, I would love to do this myself), it would mean a heaven for us.

Only other choice is to come back to this restaurant and ask ourselves. Unforgetabble food.

Great local food a good prices. Friendly service and fantastic Tasting food. we Came here for both dinner and lunch. It is worth exploring the end of the island opposite old town. Much quieter than the middle of old town and not pushy either.

This is one of the best restaurants in Vietnam. Miss Lien thao is not only a good cook but also a great host.
You should definitely try out her Pork Cao lao and freah spring rolls and take a cooking class if you have the time.

This yummy eatery is just off the main drag.
Not as cute as the main road but a darn sight cheaper and flavourful than the offerings on the main road.

We got the chicken pho, chicken wonton and chicken spring rolls and 2 lemon drinks the total was 170k for everything.

Tasty and good sized portions, not too big but definitely enough.

The wonton and spring rolls were made fresh to order, super crispy and tasty.
Especially the wonton topping, which was a sweet and sour tomato and pineapple mix.

We were given free little bananas for dessert.

We will be back for dinner.

A cute place just off the main path. Tasty noodles (I got Cao Lau, my partner Pho Bo) served with care. Great price, great people, can't go wrong.

Very tasty, freshly made Vietnamese food by a lovely lady. We came back again the same day and she gave us free passion fruit dessert.

The best place we’ve eaten at in Vietnam. The tamarind crab is absolutely amazing! Their butter garlic sauce is not super thick like other places as well and just has wonderful flavor. Mom and pop shop that serves up the best food. A must try in Hoi an!

Everything we had was excellent! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So good in fact that I had to order another dish 🤤 Miss LT was lovely too 👏 GOGOGO! 🍽🏃
