Sandy Bay Beach Bar & Restaurant

Beautiful location with great atmosphere! My husband and I ate here during our honeymoon and it was fantastic food, drinks, and service! We ended up meeting the owner and manager of the restaurant who were absolutely wonderful and kind people. Would definitely go again!

Really great to sit for a while and enjoy the atmosphere, too.

We came in 25 minutes before they closed at 10pm and they still sat us. It was a bit rushed but we expected it since it was closing time.
The food was really nice and we both had traditional Vietnamese food since we've become accustomed to it. And who visits Vietnam for spaghetti and burgers.
Would recommend! Drinks were great too!

Great place to be. Very relaxing and you can have a great time here with your friends and family. Though the rates are slightly higher from the other restaurants but the view and service is great

Very nice ambiente, directly at the beach. Food was very delicious, I had Pizza wich was freshly made in a real pizza oven. I felt like being in Italy. Shrimps we're also very good. I can totally recommend this beach bar!!!

Been there with the family - good food and wine, nice view, well-trained personnel. Good place to relax, BTW - they even have the piano!

Girlfriend and I spent a few days here during Lunar New Year and this place was our food paradise (3 minutes walk along the beach front from our resort). Even though it was low season, the atmosphere was amazing, delicious and affordable dishes, they got a proper oven for baking pizzas and other delicacies and the manager welcomed us every time to ask how everything was. The views over the bay are priceless!

Amazing place! One of the best place I have eaten and drunk in Vietnam. Definitely a must if you travel along Ha Long Bay and the islands. It’s a bar and restaurant with nice people which speak English, food and drinks are so good. In the place there’s an Italian guy Luigi which cooked us one of the best pizza ever. Very nice and friendly! Go there!!!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing people and wonderful food on the beach! We ate one of the best pizza ever, cooked in an wooden oven for pizzas, we also met and Italian guy (Luigi) who works there, very friendly and he invited us to join the staff party of the restaurant after the closure of this. If you are in Tuan Chau island, which actually is pretty desolated, this restaurant/bar is a must!

Sandy Bay Beach Bar is easily the best ambiance on this island! The island can be pretty sleepy and quiet. If you find yourself looking for a stellar view and good food, this is the place to be. Attentive and friendly service helps make this a great place to enjoy the evening breeze on the beach. Would easily come back and do it all again.

Defenitely the best place in entire Halong area. Great food, cool people and relaxing reggae music in the background.

I had a margherita pizza and my husband had the ham and mushroom pizza. Both were delicious and did not disappoint. The waiter was very sweet and friendly. The restaurant itself was clean and pretty.

I am not sure if they do delivery but if they don’t - I think they would benefit from offering pizza delivery to the island.

Best restaurant in Than Chau island. There is not a lot of restaurants in this island but Sandy Bay is wide, very well located on the beach with a beautiful view on the bay. Mainly western food. Good fresh pizza

We went for a easy dinner to Sandy Bay Beach Bar in the evening!
I felt like some Western Food after weeks of vietnamese food. So i ordered a beef burger with fries (180'000 VND) and my boyfriend ordered pasta with mushrooms. The food was really good. My frech fries and the burger were excellent.

I also had a cocktail called "Deep Blue Sea" with fresh Passion Fruit and Curacao. It was also excellent.

The prices are very ok for the nice view and location!

Can really recommend it!

Amazing view over halong at the beach. The food is the best I had in halong. And the team with Luigi, who makes the best pizza I had in Asia make this location my favourite to eat and relax at the beach or just have a few drinks. A must!

We ordered seafood pizza and pasta etc...that’s very delicious and really good location !! A manager is friendly ♪ When we visited Ha long bay again I’ll come here♪

The food was so yummy. Try the pizza! You will be happily surprised. Def a place to visit while on the island.

We had some tasty coffee & tea with focaccia, service was also great! Not to mention that the place has a wonderful view :)
