We loved the Lapis Hotel. The rooms were well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. As others have mentioned, our window looked out into a window well, but we were aware of this when we booked it. The shower in our room was in the bathtub, which was elevated and might be an issue if you have mobility issues. I believe they have a walk-in shower, so be sure to check your room type if you need that.
The food in the restaurant was very good, we had breakfast, one lunch and two dinners there.
The front desk staff went above and beyond for us to find a last-minute tour for us. They also booked our transfer to the airport.
The hotel is a little walk from the old quarter but we were fine with that, we prefer a quiet environment at night. The 10 minute walk to the lake or old quarter was much needed after all the yummy food we had been eating.

The service was outstanding at this hotel. The staff, especially Cherry at reception, couldn’t do enough for me during my stay. The sauna and jacuzzi were so peaceful and the view from the infinity pool was great. Highly recommend spending at least 2 nights at this hotel in order to avail of all that is on offer.

Spa, sauna, steam room and pool where what made this hotel. Great area to relax and unwind from the busy city.

Not going to lie, I did choose this place because of the stunning rooftop pool. We had an 18-hour layover and this hotel was perfect. It was close enough to see Hanoi sights, comfortable enough to get quality rest and the rooftop pool was the perfect place to cool down after a hot day to head back for our connecting flight.

The staff were so helpful & accommodating. They even helped us get laundry done, arranged for a taxi pickup and allowed us to use the rooftop pool & showers to freshen up in the afternoon after checking out. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 2 different nights, and we were upgraded for the second night. Lovely comfortable bed in a clean, air-conditioned room. The location is excellent and within walking distance of the French Quarter. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was top class. Highly recommend.

Luxury hotel, been carefully maintained, very clean. Located at a peaceful block where you won't get disturbed by the noise around Hoang Kiem lake, but in converse it means a bit far especially for girls to walk in the night. Overall comments is excellent still.

Really nice hotel, rooftop pool and spa. Was very quiet when I was here which was nice. Rooms are a good size. I hired a moped from the front desk... wasn't a great experience. The service was good from the hotel, but their supplier is sub-standard. Bikes in awful condition and mine broke down. However, the hotel arranged a new bike to come to me and was all done in about an hour.

Wonderful hotel. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early after an overnight train. They also allowed us to use the pool area prior to check in. The gym is great and has new equipment. We ordered room service and the noodles and club sandwich were very yummy. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. A nice slice of luxury.

Beautiful place with comfy beds, nice looking rooms, great staff and stunning infinity swimming pool.

Health club is located on the roof top and it's open from 6:00 to 22:00. There's also gym with few weights, spinner and treadmill. In addition, there's jacuzzi and finnish sauna as well as steam sauna.

They tried to accomodate us as vegans with stir fry noodles and fried rice for breakfast, which was nice. Receptionist managed call with my food delivery driver successfully when I handed him phone in panic because I dont speak Vietnamese and driver didnt speak English.

However, we were given only one acess card to room which was rather impractical (but I guess it's common here).
Also, it would be nicer if saunas had some timer or visible clocks.

Located in the city center, just 5 mins from the Opera house. The staff is friendly. The room is a bit smaller than we expected but the bed is comfy

Nice hotel in the french quarter area. Very convenient location with many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were excellent. It also has a nice buffet breakfast with many choices to your liking. The room was nicely appointed and very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

I dig this hotel. Smells of lavender, looks splendid, and friendly staff.

They provide the standard: WiFi, bottles of water stocked for you each day, and tea.

Pool is on the top and is swanky. There’s not much of a view on the top - didn’t bother me.

I want to go back to the staff. I found myself talking to them a bit because they seemed genuine in asking how my day was when I saw them. Made me feel good.

One quirky thing here is that there is a window between the bathroom and room. You can make a silhouette out on each side. If you’re traveling with a family member and are on the bashful side, be warned.

Wonderfully comfortable, great value-for-money hotel, well situated with an abundance of restaurants within two minutes walk.
Helpful and smiling staff, all of whom speak good English.
Much enjoyed my 4-night stay there.

Staff were wonderfully helpful in helping us navigate the difficulties of getting a PCR test to enter Japan. The location is great, very close to the old quarter, but not in the middle of all the noise.

Nice hotel in the center of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable.
The only thing I don't really like is breakfast, which doesn't provide a wide variety of choices.
