Authentic Vietnamese Rice and Chicken restaurant! Recommended for this area and has a limited amount of local cuisine choices. Great taste and is always busy due to being popular for the dishes! Will come again, amazing (even for me as I don’t eat veggies)!

Really authentic place. Was very busy when we visited it but the food came very fast. The boss was a bit unfriendly while explaining the dishes but the food was tasty!

What a start to our tour in Hoi An!

A place that is fittingly rated among the best eats in the region and you know why. The chicken rice is easily the star, a humble dish that is elevated to extraordinary zeniths by the chefs here. The sauteed vegetables are something you can never go wrong with in Vietnam and this place does them better than others. If you are in Hoi An and have time for just one place, make it here. You will not regret it.

Rice was infused with chicken gravy and the shredded chicken was tender. Chicken innards was also served but i didn’t dare to try it
The eatery was packed with local and tourists on Tue 6pm during dinner time but food was served quickly.

Reasonable price and delicious food.

Place is visited by many locals, and the price is not too horrendous (55k for a dish of rice with shredded chicken, some cilantro, and chicken's organs) considering that it is located one alley away from all the tourist spots.

We walked pass this place a few times, always busy here. Until today, early evening we passed by and saw just a few tables available. We jumped in without hesitation. We were so excited to get in actually without knowing what kind of food actually they serve here. It was a brilliant decision. The rice chicken (Com Ga) is so good. Chicken meat is so lean. Chicken skin is also very lean. And aromatic steamed rice with herbs. The chili dipping is very delicious. The star is the small bowl of soup with herbs. It's light but flavourful and refreshing. Chicken salad is also exciting. I put chilli dipping to mix with salad. OMG, my herb heaven! The place is very clean inside an old building.

Disclaimer: this is our first chicken rice in Vietnam, although we've had plenty of it on Singapore and Malaysia.

The chicken rice here was increíble and light. Perfect for a scorching day like we had. We ordered the chicken salad, rice, and stir fried vegetables, which also came with a small bowl of cilantro chicken soup and a chicken oil for the rice.

The flavors were nice mixtures of sourness from the limes, umami from the chicken oil, and spice from the peppers and salt from the salt/black pepper mix. I would definitely eat here again. I would only say that the chicken could perhaps be a bit more tender, but otherwise no complaints.

Surprised by the lack of reviews! We visited upon the recommendation of a local guide and it was by far the most authentic restaurant we visited during our stay in Hoi An. The Goi Ga and the Com Ga were out of this world.

Delicious com ga (chicken rice), best I had the entire trip. We didn’t actually know what we were ordering, a guy came by and asked us “how many” and we just got a serving each of chicken rice. Again no idea what I was eating but it was fantastic! The rice was fragrant, the chicken seemed to pair well with the onions and coriander and the entire dish was a medley of perfection. We had 2 plates each. There was a line when we went but waited no longer than 15 minutes for a table of 4. Would wait again and would get another 3 plates to myself if I were here again.

The restaurant is always crowded but you will quickly get served by the restaurant staffs. Highly recommended for tourists!

We arrived in Da Nang and were picked up by our driver for the rest of the duration that we would be in Vietnam. But first, we headed to the ancient town of Hoi An where we stayed for the next 2 nights. Nothing much to say about the accommodation because it was an AirBnB - so when we checked in, our host recommended this place that serves the best chicken rice in Hoi An.

As most of us were rather exhausted, we decided to follow the advise because.. who knows better about the town than the local? We stopped right in front of this restaurant late evening - the look on the waiter's face upon seeing such a big group was priceless 😆 anyhow he still served us.. the whole restaurant was not that big and to some extent, claustrophobic if you went in big group. Yet it didn't stop the locals as well as tourists from enjoying the chicken rice there.

◾clear soup garnished generously with coriander
◾rice was very good - buttery, absorbed the essence of the chicken and most importantly, not lumpy at all.
◾chicken salad complete with basil leaves, onio d and chicken slices
◾Whole chicken - in fact we ordered two whole birds to be eaten between 11 of us. Juicy, tender and flavourful... Just what a good poached chicken supposed to be.
◾NOTE... But one thing that surprised us was the unassuming bowl of the innards - gizzards, heart, intestines, etc.. drenched in a tasty and reddish looking soup. I didn't know what they had added into the soup but that bowl got us adding additional rice to eat. We even asked for extra bowls of the innards just because we couldn't get enough of it.

After the awesome dinner, we walked for a while before hailing Grab back to our AirBnB to call it a night.

This store is recommended by our driver and we loved it soooo much! The chicken rice is really nice - chicken is juicy, sauce is tasty and the combination with onion and herbs is just perfect. Definitely would recommend people to go

Shared a plate of chicken, papaya salad and spinach with a friend. It tastes really good. The chicken is very flavourful yet it doesn't feel too heavy but very refreshing. As a Malaysian who grew up eating lots of chicken rice, I definitely recommend this place. Spinach might be too greasy for some people who aren't used to this kind of cooking. Price is affordable and portion is decent. With three dishes and two plates of rice, we paid 160k VND.

Service i gave 5 because it was quick, don't expect formal table service, expect to be bumped as ppl walk pass if your sitting by the aisle.

Food was great we ordered com ga xe because it was the main dish but we also order a set menu, which included com ga xe but all elements seperate rather than on 1 plate because it is designed to be shared

4 pax we paid 820,000 duong but thats coz 2 of us were big eaters

One of the best chicken rice restaurants which I have ever eaten in Hoi An. This one located at main road so you can easy to find it. High recommendation!

Legit local dishes, quick service, authentic tasty dishes. We waited a day before reviewing to make sure we didn't get food poisoning. Highly recommend trying it out if you're after a cheap tasty meal.

Personally, i think it very delicious compared to other place. The souce was the spotlight of this dish. The place is well known even in the vietnamese society. The price is also resonable. Big like for the Hoi An signature dish.
