Family-run business. The Banh mi is of great quality. Tasty and fresh ingredients. Good also for vegetarians (they have a version with tofu and, if you want, you can add avocado). Highly recommended.

AMAZING! The Bahn Mi with chicken and egg, and 2 month fermented chili sauce is to die for. Everything is so flavourful and juicy. Highly highly recommended.

This has been my favourite place to get a bahn mi in all of Vietnam. It deserves the 5 stars, a very friendly family making the best selection of sandwiches for great prices. The unique atmosphere and chill vibes are brought by Danny (the giant Iguana) who will greet you at the front :)

Best bahn mi in Hoi An! If you don’t mind a little spice get the spicy version for that extra bit of flavor. Both the Phi Special and Chicken and Egg were great. Take a few minutes to sit down and chat with Phi while you’re there

And if you show up early enough on a sunny day you might even get to meet Danny while he sunbathes on the front step!

The best Bahn Mi’s I had in Hoi An. The sandwiches were so good and such a good deal (about $1 USD!) I came back twice.

My favorite was the Phi special, which has pork, pate, cream cheese, egg, and avocado. The chicken and egg was also delicious.

The option exists for spicy and non spicy. Unless you’re incapable of handling a bit of heat, go for the spicy. It’s not that spicy but packs a ton of flavor. According to their menu the chili sauce takes two whole months for them to prepare.

Very nice atmosphere with the pet lizard Danny. Delicious baguettes. They have vegetarian options too. The owner is very friendly and speaks good English as well. Danny doesn’t bite though

Lovely little family run bahn mi cafe. The ingredients are fresh and the bahn mi are tasty. We visited a few times during our stay in Hoi An and enjoyed every time.

There are more options available if you don’t eat meat pate (other than the straight vegetarian option), and the menu clearly lists ingredients, which I really appreciated.

Great bahn mi! They have a lot of options. The staff are very sweet and kind people 😍 They use local ingredients and have their own special marinade and chilli sauce - the chilli sauce takes two whole months to prepare!

I went to this place in 2015. Not only was the food great, Phi and his wife were so amazing. Hoi An is known for their tailored clothing, and since I mentioned it, Phi’s wife doubled me on her scooter to a great tailor for a lower price.
On my last evening before I left, they invited me out for dinner with them at this amazing local riverside place with a bunch of their customers from around the world visiting and passing through like me. I will never forget them. Thank you!

Anh Phi is an entertainer. His Banh Mi’s belong to the Top 10 in Hoi An. Family guy and worth a visit.

Stayed in the area for almost a week and I was here nearly everyday - the bahn mi is generous in size and fuuuullll of flavour, they marinade their meat and you can really tell. The chilli sauce is also insane. Being able to add avocado for such a cheap price was amazing. Very affordable for backpackers but no compromise on quality.

As we travel from South to North Vietnam this is the best Banh Mih we have eaten so far. We enjoyed that the fresh bread that was was warm and crunchy and not soggy at all. A perfect amount of very fresh fillings so we were not over-faced. We worry about the cleanliness of some “Street Food” but we felt very comfortable eating at the front of this husband and wife team’s home. They have a giant orange iguana called Danny who was sunbathing on the pavement that added a bit of fun to our lunch. Thank you for a wonderful lunch and we wish you every success in the future.

Best banh mi in the world! Banh mi 25 in hanoi doesn’t even come CLOSE to the flavor and quality you’ll find here. The crispy bread, the special hot sauce, the fresh avocado, wow! Truly a memorable meal. I’ll be back!

The Phi special is unlike any bahn mi I’ve ever had. The bread is perfectly delightful, the perfect combination of crust and substance. It was warmed inside a coal grill to be perfectly balanced. The sauce makes it very juicy and easy to eat and the hint of fresh herbs rounds out the taste. The avocado really only makes everything more elevated and light. Would absolute recommend this place.
We’ve been here at 16 in the afternoon and it’s not busy at all.
Also they have a cute pet that’s some form of quirky looking dog. He’s very precious.

Best banh mi and excellent prices! Come here and don’t get ripped off elsewhere. The traditional and chicken are very good. The chili paste was amazing. Easy to order with an English menu.
