Cool store, lots of guitars to choose from and a great selection of used ones. Also had lots of tube amps. Great place to keep visiting just to see what has been added.

Absolutely amazing inventory of vintage guitars. Acoustics, electrics, basses and mandolins, all kinds of instruments. And the owner is really nice, very hospitable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to

A misunderstanding about condition of a guitar I just purchased was straightened up and taken care of with in like 2 seconds flat.

As a business owner of 4 retail stores in 3 states, I know a good stop owner when I see one. MARK is an honest business owner and took care of my problem just like I take care of my customers who have problems. THIS is the way to be a businessman. Cheers on you Mark.

Dave H is the man! I bought a sweet 1960 Fender Super at a very fair price. Upon arrival I noticed the power transfer was original as initially thought. No problem. He immediately worked with me to remedy the issue. The amp sound killer.

I’d give 10 stars if possible! These guys know what they’re doing, listen to what you need, and I always leave having learned something. The service is quick and professional—I’ve taken several things in for work and have always felt very satisfied. Thanks for fixing up my bass! Best in STL :)

Sold on consignment a few amps and several guitars...acoustic and electric...that were in very good condition. Each sale was handled professionally with everything in writing. They always paid promptly. One guitar, with wear and less popular, took several years to sell but they said someone will want it and finally someone did. That's why you involve a professional. Nice to have someone handle every aspect of the sale. Enjoyed visiting the shop a few times. Check out their Killer Vintage T shirts! I would recommend them and wish them well.

Worked hours setting up my American strat that has high E sound issues. Only charged me $50. Guitar sounds much better.

These guys recently worked on a bass amp that was having some tricky issues to diagnose. I was impressed with how thorough they were and how genuinely interested they were in helping me get this thing up and running. They really care - they're musicians and they understand how important it is for your gear to work. They were great about listening to me describe the issues and getting back to me with updates. They're going to be my go-to place in the future.

As the name states, this is one killer vintage guitar shop! Wonderful selection of vintage guitars and amplifiers, plus great guitar and amp repair technicians.

I grew up hanging out in a shop like this. So glad to see places like this are still going strong...!

Amazing service. I went there to get mt tele setup again after installing new saddles on a Thursday at 2 o’clock and the luthier (Brian) was off that day. Told them I needed it the next day because I was leaving for a gig that weekend. Mark called Brian to see what he could do and Brian ended up driving to the store on his day off to get it setup for me. Best customer service I have experienced in a long time. There’s a reason why this place has been around for so long. I will most definitely be back in the future.

The name says it, there's killer vintage instruments there! The staff is extremely helpful and approachable. They are more interested in helping you than making a sale. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed.

My first experience was a little unsettling because they were swamped and it took some time to get serviced.
The second time I went it was a totally different experience and I was attended to like having a waiter at a fine French restaurant standing behind you waiting to change your fork when you put it down.
The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and eager to assist you. Killer Vintage is highly praised by word of mouth of other musicians and shops in the community and I highly recommend them for all your musical instrument and amplifier needs.

What a wonderful experience. My Marshall JMP was redplating on the power tubes, so I brought it into Killer Vintage. Brought it in on Tuesday and picked it up two days later at a low price that I couldn’t believe. True professionals and great communication. The amp sounds fantastic and I couldn’t be more pleased. I will not trust my amps with anyone else from here out... no reason to take them anywhere else! Thanks, Killer Vintage!!

Forcing curbside during a pandemic is a good thing. I had to send off an old, sentimental guitar for some repair work + setup, and though it took a while (they process repairs in batches), it was well worth the wait, and far cheaper than I had expected. I'd highly recommend giving this place a shot if you're not in an absolute hurry for your guitar back. My grandpa's late-70s pawn shop purchase has likely never played this well, even when it was brand new.

If you are in the St. Louis area, you have to stop by Killer Vintage. Even if you're not in the market for a guitar. It's a cool place to check out some really cool guitars. Many are old, but some are new. They have killer amps as well. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I stop in every time I am in town.
