The DIME Store

I'm glad that this location has a variety of specific items such as candles, pillows, and soap pieces that one wouldn't commonly find inside of other businesses. This is also a convenient place to head to in terms of the streets nearby. The general atmosphere is nice as well.

This store has such a variety of lovely handmade things to choose from. This year, I bought all my partner's Christmas gifts from this store and every item was awesome.
I don't live in Texas so I used the online shop. Shipping was quick, the items were packaged well (including breakables), and the communication/customer service was really great.

My gift shop in Denton near the heart of the square. Features local makers from Denton & US small businesses. Woman-owned and they offer regular rotating workshops.

Parking in the back can get tight during busy hours but on weekdays and early afternoons it’s easy to visit and browse.

Staff are kind and friendly.

beautiful shop right off the downtown square that carries a large variety of handmade pieces from local artists. i love buying gifts from this store, and far too often gifts for myself as well.

They fit right in at their new location off of McKinney and have made great use of their space. They sell items like screenprints, handbags, air plants, toddler items, kitchenware and more. All if not most of their items are hand made and locally sourced.

Even though most of the items in the shop are geared toward women, it’s good to be able to have a local shop like this that my wife and family would love. Every Christmas for the past 5 years I have been able to find something for at least 2-3 people and I feel good knowing that I am supporting a local business.

I’ve been wanting to visit the Dime Store (@dimehandmade) for over a year now. Their selection of goods is amazing and their prices were great for handmade items! I loved the classroom they have set up too. There were so many more things I wanted to buy than I did, but I got plenty. The customer service was outstanding as well! I received tips on other stores I may enjoy that were close by. 💜💜💜

A great arts and crafts store in Denton TX. Well worth a visit to support local artists and crafts people.

This is one of the most wonderful stores in Texas. It is a must stop if you are walking around Downtown Denton. The store is beautifully decorated and designed. It sells all locally made products, including many lovely paper products such as cards and posters. It is so fun and worth a stop. If you ever need a gift or card for anyone, stop here first!

I’m really impressed with the Dime Store’s curbside service. I ordered online and it was ready within two hours. They sent a confirmation email with clear instructions on where to park in Austin street outside their door. I called on arrival and they popped out with the bag and put it in the trunk. Super nice and helpful. Highly recommend for Christmas shopping. I would do 100% of my shopping here if I could.

Fun, homey shop with tons of creative content curated by local Denton artisans. A great spot for cards, gifts, candles, jewelry, and more. Fun fact: many of the cashier's are also artists who have created much of what you see in the store!

This place is always selling the latest handmade goods from local artists. If you want to shop for a gift somewhere that won't have the same old stuff, you must stop by the dime store. Even if you don't find a gift you like you can at least get a cute handmade greeting card.

It's a must visit for anyone who has a love for handmade goods! Excellent supply of 1 of a kind cards, kid's toys, pottery, and much more. I can't go to Denton without stopping by and getting my handmade fix!

This is such a cute store, I would love to buy everything inside! I love that they sell local art. I have been to multiple workshops there and just really enjoy my experience. Good for girls or date night!

What a quaint local shop! Loved this place . OUTSTANDING customer service and friendly knowledgeable staff. Store is pricey but carries unique designs from local artists. Great little souvenirs available with a personalized touch. Highly recommend.

If you need gifts of many different types or decorations for the home go here. Rare and unique items made mostly by Denton peeps. I don't know what it is about Denton, but the creativity is off the charts.

The founders Rachel and Shelley are the nicest people and have continually invested into their store, people, and events to offer the best. They do a great job of showcasing sellers of all different types to keep the inventory new and fun.

Go buy stuff here or at their Handmade Harvest and support the creative folk of Denton!

Best place to shop for gifts for the people you love and for treating yourself. The store is always well organized and stocked with beautiful things! This past Christmas they offered gift wrapping which I hope they do again this year.

Super cute place with a lot of hand crafted items (cards, jewelry, t-shirts, etc.). They can be a little pricey but considering its all local artists its worth it, the staff are very sweet and will even gift wrap for free.

Cute little shop right off the square. Love their locally made merch and the various workshops they provide. 😊
