Mighty fine gourmet coffee & breakfast here! Very beautiful old warehouse building with lots of great art on display & for sale! Loved our visit! Denton is such a supporter of small businesses & the Arts!

My home away from home! The most delicious tea, coffee, and food. If you haven’t had the home fries with a side of their basil aioli, your life isn’t complete. I love getting know my regular baristas, Eden & Emma. I am working on learning everyone’s name. They know me and my order, even though there are times I get confused for “Shelly.” Apparently, she is my doppelgänger. (Shelly, if you see this, we need to meet up for home fries and take a photo.) Thankful for this West Oak family! You guys are the best!

Chill atmosphere, delicious coffee, and great food.
This breakfast, beer, and coffee spot is right on the square. It has positive vibes where you can enjoy a cup of brew and a conversation.
The cinnamon roll is really good with a giant scoup of fresh cream cheese frosting.
The sausage gravy on SOS was also delicious.

The shop is amazing! The atmosphere and decor are so homey and feel like a warm coffee house vibe. The coffee was delicious and the service friendly and informative. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Denton Square area or wanting a fun place to go hang out and sip some delicious coffee.

We stopped here for coffee and a late breakfast. And, because we are traveling Seattleites, our stops must have excellent espresso reviews. The espresso was acidic with chocolate undertones, but it was overshadowed by my delicious breakfast-"the Smash"! Omg. Highly recommend 👌

Love love love! Such good coffee AND yummy food. Staff is always friendly, even when place gets hectic, and it’s pet friendly! Best place to get some work done or even just relax in Denton! Things are a bit more on the expensive side but that’s normal for the square!

West Oak is probably the best little coffee shop in town. I’ve enjoyed coming here since they’ve opened and over the years, I’ve never had a negative experience. Walking in, I always feel welcomed. Every staff member is so kind here and takes the time to acknowledge you and your family and I feel like you’re always greeted with a smile. Their coffee is incredibly delicious, no matter if you get a black cup of coffee or a sweet latte. And we truly enjoy breakfast here as well. While sometimes it makes me sad, I love their rotating food items. They always provide fresh ingredients, interesting pastries/goodies and it’s the perfect place for a quick breakfast and some bold flavors. I just wish some of the rotating items were for forever because they’re just too good! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting and it’s easily become a weekly staple for my family to come here and enjoy our mornings.

Great spot right on the square. Parking can be tough but it’s free! Enjoyed a delicious peppermint mocha latte today. Just the right amount of peppermint and mocha without being too much or too sweet. The perfect pick me up. Love the space inside as well as the tables outside that are covered.

First of all, get the hummingbird bread.. 🤤 I also got the cold brew with almond milk and thought the flavor was great, not sure what bean is used but it’s good, smooth, not bitter at all and packs a punch. Glad I made the stop in here to try this awesome Denton landmark!

Caught up here with my best friend recently. We each got a hot latte and sat out front and enjoyed our drinks. We loved the atmosphere and service. They call out your order by name and get it to you quickly. It was pretty full when we stopped by but we enjoyed the stop.

Excellent coffee and food!! I own a coffee shop in Lawrence, KS. So I love having the opportunity to visit other shops. This shop is fantastic! Great vibe. All of our drinks and food items were great. Friendly service. Highly recommend

This is clearly a popular spot to grab some high quality coffee. The place was packed when I went on a Saturday morning. The ambience was rustic and they had couches, which I always appreciate. They also sell their own beans for those who wish to purchase them.

On a trip to Denton I found this place. Yam spice latte was amazing. Breakfast sandwich was so good too! Love the atmosphere and the location!
Menu was a little hard to read while ordering and staff didn’t try to help with that, but overall great experience and will definitely stop by again!

I was in Denton for a few weeks this month, visiting from Los Angeles, and someone suggested I check out West Oak Coffee Bar. What a special place it is! I would come here multiple times a week to study and enjoy a cappuccino, cortado, or the occasional latte. The drinks were wonderfully made, with good espresso and perfect foam on the milk (and great latte art). I tried other spots around Denton and while a few were good, they didn’t compare to West Oak in terms of coffee in my opinion. While I only tried the breakfast toast and a couple of the cookies, they were excellent and I only wish I had time to try more food items. The ambiance is also superb, the warm glow of the incandescent lights on the wood and brick interior makes for an ideal coffee shop atmosphere in the Texas winter. If you’re in Denton for any reason, treat yourself at West Oak Coffee Bar.

The first time I went to West Oak, I was a little confused on what I wanted to order. Jacob was very friendly and helped me land on the perfect drink- vanilla latte hot. He designed it with a heart, per my request, and I was instantly hooked. I’ve been coming in every now and then since that day, and every single time I’m met with a great atmosphere to match the coffee- especially when Jacob is there. I definitely recommend! The pancakes are also pretty good. Syrup is legit.

Very good atmosphere and high quality coffee! Wish there was a little more available seating though.

• i ordered a “Pretty in Pink”(Drip Coffee Topped w/ Strawberry Mascarpone) & an “Everything Bagel Turnover”. they were both super delish, warm & very toasty!! felt like a dream!! (they have lattes/coffee/tea/espresso & cozy pastries)

•••story time: i was super blessed cause some random black guy sent from God🕊…paid for me & my friend!! and guess what he also payed for the people in line behind us!!🤎

I love this little spot. Great atmosphere. Delicious food + coffee. The staff is really nice, too. West Oak is the best coffee place in Denton.

West Oak has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Their spring time lavender latte is something I still think about well past the season. We went this week and enjoyed the blueberry latte. Truly tasty. Really neat interior too. Couple all this with the prime location right next to the courthouse and you have yourself a true destination of a coffee shop.

Great place,very cool atmosphere, coffee was good, a bit strong, but nothing crazy. Service was good and 4 of us had breakfast, all happy with it. Prices were lower than what I expected.
