I am so appreciative to the way the Oak Forest Jewel is today. Over a year ago I may not have written this. I've noticed a change upon walking in. The Moral is so much better! I then noticed the Store Manager, Mike Buchanan having a "hands on approach" too which he leads by example. I personally Thanked Mike. I can see he has sincere respect for the customer as well as his employees. Thank you Mike, we all appreciate you.....

March is a busy month for me on the birthday side. I have always been able to count on the bakery for my celebration needs. Every time, without ordering ahead, I have been able to walk in and select a cake and all of my other party needs. The cakes/decorator are always so subperb. Literally, any day of the week, you can go in, pick out a cake that looks as if it was already customized for your specific needs. I’ve never used a privately owned bakery - Jewel has better quality, taste, and prices. My family always has a smile on their face when I arrive with selected treats. They would never guess, I purchased from Jewel. I will be returning, time after time, for my special moments.

This One Is For The Bakery ! I Usually Don’t Write Reviews But I’ve Ordered Cakes But The Bakery Twice This Year One For My Family Reunion And One For My Daughters 6th Birthday Both Cakes We’re Superb ! I Mean Fresh Ingredients, Usually With Store Cakes Sometimes The Icing May Not Be The Best, At This Jewel The Icing Was So Fresh Both Times. The Ladies In The Bakery Are Always Amazing Sweet And Helpful ! Customer Service Is Amazing! From Now On I Will Be Getting All Of My Cakes From This Location ❤

Google asked me to write a review and apparently I took a pic of cocoa wheats. I go to this jewel often. It’s a solid jewel. Trusty as always. Nothing fancy but also, they have cocoa wheats. What else can ya say?

First of all, I'm an Oak Forest Resident and love my Jewel, no "Jewels," kids!😉 On a serious note, I was there a few minutes ago and need to heap some on your Staff. Chris I believe a long time Veteran at the store was great..as usual. Ever vigilant, she came to my rescue at checkout. No biggie, but as a lot goes on as I notice. Yet Chris promptly helps me as I get on my day. Again, mundane stuff yes, but Huge in my World. I value my time as most others do too. I just want recognize your Awesome Employee at this store. Sure they get paid, but it's amazing to see a few still take in their work! Chris, Linda and the rest prove it daily.

So ya, it's clean and quality is good, but boy, prices are high, definitely need to look for sales.

The Jewel app is great for finding deals that the store doesn't advertise.

It was pretty busy for Mother's Day. Lines were busy and they were staffed for the rush in the morning, quite surprising. Had a great visit. Wish it was like this all the time. People here are always nice especially if your looking for something. Prices at tad high but to be expected. Alot more classier store for shopping.

Deli really needs Help, big x. Slow, I asked for 1/3lb of this thin,, he shows me the 1st slice great n the rest of the slices THICK I ordered 3 1/3 lb of cheese turkey & chicken same thing n I got 1/2 lb. Not the 1/3 lb I ordered. A few weeks bk deli was closed no one came into work? Slower than slow. But they r all talking & having a great x behind the counter. I worked deli quite some yrs ago we worked our butts off guess things have changed @ jewel. I noticed some salads were nvr flipped n put in to a clean container/dish. Looked all dried out. 7 ppl behind counter still took 33 min. To place n receive wrong order hardly see the same faces wk 2 wk. Guess it's to hard & busy. So the young ones quit n go somewhere else. Good luck, I have started. To shop @ meijer.

This store meets all needs.....really one stop shop! Manager Tanya is always on top of everything and she's got it! This Jewel is clean. well stocked,staff is friendly helpful. For goodness sake go see for yourself!! See ya there.....😇

Jewel-Osco has transformed itself into a grocery leader. Learned from past mistakes and has found its way again as a grocery store. This location is a perfect example of that transformation, super clean, cashiers are on stand by in case lines get long, management is ready to assist in all areas of the store. On this particular visit a manager was even cleaning up a mess left by a previous customer. This shows great managerial skills, did not wait for the cleaning crew. Management should be commended for their dedication to the success of this location. Also CHEEP CHICKEN MONDAY'S are the best.

Nice ppl computers took over store cashier's just try not to use lines super slow a public washroom if anybody has kids nice place just not so much when forced to stand in long lines. Have had to leave with out my items doe to wait time many times but dependable reguard less try shopping when not alone of ppl ull like it better .

Selection and restocking of items is very good at this store. In most stores the restocking crew is too busy to answer questions. Big shout out to the young lady who helped me find cloves with a warm greeting and smile

Very nice store coming there, often now. Service and staff I like. As well store is tidy and good neat stock. I find good sales.cashiers are good workers up front
Keep orders in my brown bags easy for me .see ya soon.

I was shopping in the meat department looking for salmon patties I didn't see it so I was going to leave the department but was approached by an associate named Robert who kindly asked what I needed.
He kindly went to the back and got what I needed,he was very kind.
I was very happy to see him providing such great customer service during this difficult time of dealing with the pandemic.

I Love Jewel for the deals, quality of their produce, and meats. I also enjoy the staff at the location I visit.
Jewel offers free products for us to try. That enables me to learn about items I probably wouldn't purchase
