HP ORIENTAL MART

Small convenience store type with a variety of options. They had some ramen packets and this amazing purple yam porridge I haven't been able to get anywhere else. The prices were decent to me, but again some of these items I haven't seen in any other grocery stores so I really don't have a comparison. The person who was at the cash register was very helpful and patient since I had a few questions. I would recommend but if you're looking for a LARGE variety of items keep in mind the place is small so they don't carry everything. I would still recommend stopping by to see what they have though!

I had an inquiry about a product over the phone (if they carry it at their store or not) and they were really nice and helpful in offering me other options. I have not visited yet but I will for sure in the future. I had called other stores too regarding that same product and they were quite rude so this little gesture was really nice of them.

Absolutely appreciated the welcoming individuals here! They have a nice stock of products I was looking for. Next door they have the most delicious boba teas! I am to return for all the flavors coming soon!!!

All the best Filipino products at a reasonable price! Such a helpful and friendly owner too! Now I don't need to go to Seafood city! So glad this little grocery is in my neighborhood!

It is a very comprehensive Asian food store for such a small place. She has everything. Excellent selection and good prices..

Stopped in HP after golfing nearby and was surprised to see what the great renovation to the market. great place to grab all your Filipino goodies, from pancit noodles, drinks, snacks, all your favorite spices & seasonings to make your favorite dishes at home. Highly recommend stopping in for the great goods and very welcoming customer service. Great spot!!

If you need a rare Asian food product that you can’t find anywhere else, check with HP Mart as you’ll be astonished by how much they have in their store. It’s be run by a fun, energetic owner who even has customer appreciation days and celebrates holidays with customers. If you find yourself in the south suburbs, definitely worth a visit!

New young and energetic owner took over about a year ago and moved to the end of the strip mall. I encourage my non-Filipino friends to come in and expand their culinary experience.

Friendly staff, great selection - stop by to get an unofficial sushi 101 course to make some delicious sushi rolls at home! 😃
