Fat Rosie's Taco & Tequila Bar

When in town visiting, a couple of our relatives recommended this place to us. The food was really good. I enjoyed the Steak Fajitas. I could really taste the flavor on the end pieces.
The salsa for the chips looked like it was spicy, but had more of a tomato flavor. I used this on the Fajitas also.
I would go back when in town again.
The restaurant is in the pretty Frankfort Historic area.

I was at Fat Rosies for my wife's birthday 12.02.2023 and the food, service & atmosphere was outstanding. The food and drinks came very fast. I would highly recommend everyone in the Chicago and Surrounding area to give Fat Rosies a try, you will not regret it.

We came here for the first time today and the food taste authentic and fresh. Our server Ale was professional and made sure our time here was wonderful. I definitely recommend this place because the vibe here was excellent and made me fell like I went to Mexico. We will be coming here again.

It's such a beautiful restaurant. Has authentic Mexican decoration and vibe. The food came out quick and hot. The service was attentive and fast. This place would be great for a date, family night, or a work event. The steak burrito was on point, and the meat was cooked perfectly. They have vegan and vegetarian options as well. The mimosa flight was tasty. You can choose 3 for $20 or 4 for $25. The coliflower Taco was mind-blowing. They have several different choices on the kids' menu.

Went here for my 21st birthday and all i can talk about is how everything was wonderful! The atmosphere was upbeat and happy, service was phenomenal, Juan was superb, and the food is to die for. I would recommend for any great occasion, celebration, or even just regular meal to give this place a shot!

We were celebrating 3 birthday and had all the margs and all the laughs. the staff was hilarious and so accommodating… I never felt so welcome at a restaurant! Music was great, food was great. Overall great night!!

Some of the best authentic Mexican food. Top notch staff really took care of the entire party of 14. One of the best birthday meals ever! The brunch specials are out of this world and the margaritas are outstandingly good. Highly recommend the Agave puree and nectarine margarita! Ale as our waitress was super kind, attentive, and took care of all our allergy needs. Will be a repeat patron!

Naomi was our waitress and she did a phenomenal job with our service. I recommend Fat Rosie’s and appreciate the service Naomi provided. We will go back again

This was an amazing restaurant. I went to the location in Frankfort and it was A+!!! The food was outstanding and service terrific. The atmosphere was so cute and festive. Definitely will be on regular rotation for my weekend outings.

We are trying one new restaurant in southwest suburbs every week. Fat Rosie’s was hands down the best so far. Food was delicious, atmosphere was fun and the service fast and friendly (thanks Omar for the suggestions!!!). Will be back when in the mood for great Mexican food.

Omg Fat Rosie’s has by far the best customer service ever. We ordered a little bit of everything. So just know anything you choose off the menu is delicious. I truly enjoyed my 🦐, chicken & salmon tacos. It was absolutely devine. The elote was great. We had a phenomenal time drinking & eating. The alcoholic beverages will have you leaning so select a designated driver for the day. So that you can truly enjoy yourself.

We shared w/the host & waiter that it was my sister birthday & after we ate really good. Our waiter & additional staff members came over & song happy birthday. They placed a sombrero on her head & presented her with dessert. It was quite the experience since most restaurants don’t sing happy birthday anymore. We have officially made this our spot 2nd yr in a row! We celebrated my sister's bday and my anniversary. They accommodated a large party of 14 people with very minor hiccups in the seating. Food was excellent drinks were fully loaded and the atmosphere was perfect!

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! The food is delicious! The margaritas are outstanding. But, the best part of this place is the exxeptional service and ambiance. I love the outdoor area as it is filled with multicolored flower planters. It is beautiful! The indoor area is also very cute with lots of cute things to look at. The chips and salsa are sooooo good. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I drive 30 minutes to get to this place. It is worth the trip.

Our server David was amazing! We had an absolute blast and enjoyed some of the most delicious drinks and food in town. If you are looking to have a good time in a high energy environment, this is it! The whole team here is incredible, so fun, it’s a party!

Efren is the best. We love Rosies and always have excellent service. Attentive, kind and overall a great server. We love coming here and will be back as long as Efren is our server!

Diva was AMAZING!! We had to leave within the hour and she made it happen. Very nice and sweet! Love Fat Rosie’s!!

This is our fav spot to dine out! Our kids have loved it since covid times & dining in the tent outside. Alex(Ale) is the absolute best and our son & daughter adore her. She is the reason we keep coming back!
