Safeway

It has become our favorite grocery store. Parking is easy and wide. I hope that they maintain the the store as well as cleanliness. Bravo.

Chef Karen- the bbq ribs and wings were beyond what I was expecting! Everyone was very impressed with the quality. Your kind and quick service were top notch! Thank you!!!!

The Asian kid, Mathias in produce has such great customer service!!!! Definitely makes shopping easier when you have someone who knows their stuff and is on top of their work! He went above and beyond in my opinion. I’ll definitely be returning to shop here from now on out

Update 12/23/23: Since my original review Albertson's has been converted to a Safeway. The store itself has been updated, slightly and I think for the good. I prefer to buy my fresh meats and produce here, and can usually find everything I need all at this one store. Otherwise, I have not experienced any significant change in products or prices - maybe more products? As for the app, I do feel like it has significantly improved - it's much more intuitive and the scanning function works well. Am I happy that I need to do an extra step for the savings - no, but the annoyance is offset by the savings. -------------
This is my neighborhood grocery store. Overall, it serves its purpose. The selection of products is satisfactory. I have noticed that shelves are sometimes empty - but not sure if that's a supply chain or store issue. One thing I do not like is the discount/savings app. I don't like that you need to scan barcodes on sale tags or load coupons in the app prior to check out. I find it cumbersome and lots of times discriminatory towards people who may not have a phone, older clientele who might not be tech savvy or for people who don't want to download a grocery store app.

Glad to see that Albertsons is still alive and well.
They have a charging area, a pickup area, a Starbucks, and there restrooms are pretty big.

Today, being the day before Valentines Day, I had a great experience with the floral department (2/13/2020 at 4pm). The two ladies helped me pick out flowers to make two beautiful arrangements for my wife and daughter. The overall price was probably half of what a florist would have charged. I never thought I would create a review for a grocery store, but the two ladies went above and beyond and deserve recognition. Thank you.

This review is for the drive up and go grocery pick up. I was helped by Logan today and I wanted to give him a shout out for being incredibly helpful and friendly. He took great care with loading up my groceries and was super personable and kind. Employees like him make a difference. I left with a car full of groceries and happy heart. ☺

Loved my experience here with a cashier by the name of Martha V. She took such good care of us and was super friendly and kind. I would definitely shop here more often if she was the one to ring up my purchases.

Had everything we were looking for this time and some other stuff we will get in a few days if they still have it.

Improvements being done throughout...and you still are Welcomed! Help is Smiling nearby, "neighbors" are polite & considerate while shopping. Looking forward to the "Refresh" as projects are completed. Love my local grocery store!

They were extremely kind, helpful and a pleasure to be around. They made me feel very welcome. I usually go to a different store that's closer, but I will frequent Albertsons more often now.

I actually needed to be on a Zoom meeting and used the Starbucks' little seating area, after purchasing a drink, of course. It turned out to be quieter than I expected until the very end.

Amazing location! I come here a lot in the evenings to get groceries, and the cashiers and other workers are always super friendly and helpful! Today I went in to get a pumpkin that they had on special for 9¢ a pound (the week before Halloween) with a digital coupon in the app. The app had tons of issues and wouldn’t complete my purchase, but my cashier Saul fixed the issue and got me my pumpkin for the promised 9¢/lb 🎃

On Friday, 5/12, my granddaughter & I went to the local bakery at the store where we usually shop, to order a birthday cake. Not one employee acknowledged our presence.
So we headed to Albertson's on Barrows. We browsed the examples in the case. It didn't take long for Vanessa to greet us. She cheerfully grabbed a clipboard to take our order & repeated our requests to insure accuracy.
I arrived on Saturday afternoon to pick up the cake . Dianna greeted me & presented the 24 cupcake/cake. It was created exactly to our requests. Excellent customer service/satisfaction with the fulfillment of our birthday cake order.

I Was 'forced' to download the App due to the 'need' for .97 cent half gallons of Tillamook Ice Cream (a savings of 5 dollars each). 1st world problems to be sure, but that is 30 whole seconds I'll never get back (that is a joke for those sarcastically impaired).
Furthermore, The staff must have missed the memo, that due to Covid, customer service is no longer required. They always seem to actually be helpful and friendly. It's disconcerting to be sure but once I got over the shock of it, I allowed the meat department to make some extra cuts of some fish I was buying, and was astounded when a cashier gave me a discount that was advertised but that the scanner missed (she seemed happy to do so, what the heck?). So it's either a great place to shop or someone rebooted the Twilight Zone (again).

A good place to buy food

I shop at this Albertsons 2 to 3 times a week. The store layout is intuitive, they have a decent selection of fresh produce. Kombucha selection is adequate. I usually stop in the morning on my way to work and I can get in and out quickly, much faster than Safeway. The fuel points are great! Because I can redeem them at Safeway pumps right down the street.

They all ways have so many things to eat.

Kirsten at the checkout stand and I believe Christy? I hope that's her name. They welcomed me to Oregon so warmly. Truly felt like I was apart of the community. Store is clean, well organized and the staff is so friendly.
