Met Fresh of Bay Ridge

Stopped in here to shop several times between Thanksgiving and New Years eve. I have been impressed with how well they keep the store stocked and staffed. During Christmas they even posted employees at the door as greeters and to escort customers to products. So far the fruits, vegetables, cold cuts and meats purchased here have all been of great quality. I'm looking forward to returning.

The store managers are incredibly nice and understanding. A must!!! The staff is also kind. They deserve the customers!!!:)

Great neighborhood market: good looking produce, fresh meats and seafood at very reasonable prices (with even a seafood counter), neat and organized aisles, great deli counter with plenty of hot meal selections ready to go, a beer cooler room, organic and international items you can't find in most other nyc grocery stores. Really on top of the grocery game, and a checkout line system that respects all the new COVID-19 social distancing regulations. Staff are very friendly and helpful to find what you need. Kudos all around to this Bay Ridge Met Fresh.

When they had the classic music on I felt that I don’t want to leave the shop now the selection of music makes me want to finish shopping as soon as possible plus it is repetitive. Also there was a very nice cashier her name was Nadia very friendly and can talk many languages.. I really miss her.. she was the reason I went shopping in Met Fresh. I wish they can add Halal meat section too.

I have had the best delivery experience with Met Fresh. During these difficult times, they always come through. They even call to see if anything extra should be added to the order. The shoppers are very pleasant to deal with. The delivery man is so conscientious. They have made me a loyal customer.

They're nice. Cute little market and they've been good with keeping things safe during covid. Been going here for a few years now and it has always felt like community, something I can't say for some stores in the area. Keep up the great work! <3

Nice size, not huge wasting time looking for items, makes it easy to take a quick run and get everything you need. Always clean and friendly/nice Associates. Glad I started Shopping there (that was one plus for covid 😊) because I probably wouldn't have went there to find what I couldn't find because other store wasn't stocked for. It's amazing, they have alot to offer for a small grocery store

Met Fresh is a full service grocery store in the traditional Brooklyn sense... That is to say it's small, with narrow aisles, but you can usually be sure you'll find what you're looking for there. They carry a full selection of fresh produce (and a much smaller selection of frozen vegetables), dairy, and staples. Met Fresh carries all types of meat, but the selection is limited, however they do have some local craft beers and a full-service deli. The staff is friendly and helpful, and if they don't have what you're looking for, just ask for Louie, he'll probably order it for you!

As much as I know I’m a pain in the butt to Tom and staff (in all good fun) I am really appreciative to the staff who always greet me. If they don’t have something that i have used from another store I ask, they look into it and try to have by next week or so. Prices are always good and deliveries are on point.

Met Fresh on 3rd Ave Bay Ridge Brooklyn is hands down the best supermarket ever! This family owned supermarket ALWAYS EXCEEDS my expectations. They carry a huge selection of specialty foods, the freshest produce, fish, meat and a convenient yummy hot buffet. Met Fresh is super clean and well organized. The employees go above and beyond to help with any customer requests and special orders. You won’t be disappointed with your shopping experience.

Every year they host a food tasting event with tons of samples for everyone and a mini children’s fair with rides and lots of goodies free of charge! So much more than just a supermarket, Met Fresh of Bay Ridge is an important part of our community!

By far the best craft beer selection in Bay Ridge. Broad selection and good prices. A 100% hidden gem of rare beers that would fly off the shelves in Manhattan. Check the dates on the beers because sometimes things have sat on the shelf for a while, but if more people knew about it, their inventory would turn over faster.

Love since they expanded into the sushi place next door. Great beer selection of microbreweries. Fresh fish market. Organic stuff. Great produce. Great dishes in the deli section.

Excellent selection and variety. They have the blue and brown free range eggs. Plus they have a deli counter with freshly made hot pastrami, hot corned beef and hot roast beef by the pound.

Clean, their home made foods such as corn beef, turkey, quiches etc. delicious and reasonably priced! Great fresh bread, sea food and pastries section as well! Especially for a local neighborhood store.

Excellent met supermarket on 96th Street and 3rd is not your typical met supermarket. Fresh produce , organic foods, International menu items, great beer selection, Deli Bakery and fresh fish. Also offer free delivery and shopping from home. Definitely one of the best secrets in Fort Hamilton section. Did I say that?

Love this place, All the worker's are kind and polite. Also if they dontbhave what im looking for they usually get it for me the next day and if not within the week. Produce is always good.

Very pleased with Metfresh. The service Metfresh provides allows me and my husband who are elderly to stay home and be safe. The quality of the food and the service are excellent. I’m so grateful for the workers at Metfresh and the very necessary assistance they are providing in these difficult times. I can’t thank them enough!

It's a decievingly small supemarket that offers a wide selection. It's become a staple in my rotation of establishments for grocery shopping. I also highly recommend their prepared meals and hot food selection near their deli area for fast and affordable dinners that are a healthier alternative to local take-out.
