I have always been a bit weary about mechanics and as there were some serious issues with my Equinox, I needed a reliable trustworthy mechanic.
I eventually called Tom Bess on Mcklind and left my car with them at 8.30am today Feb 8. Judging by the car issues, I assumed it may have taken 2-3 days but by 3.pm the same day it was done. Prior to the service, the staff called me with an update on what I needed and full charge explanation for the jobs. No pressure either way. I felt very comfortable with their professional approach and reasonable realistic prices and happily decided to go ahead. My car now runs smoothly and those issues have disappeared. I even received some useful advise on maintenance to avoid unnecessary future expenses. I will definitely go back to Tom Bess. I realise there are mixed reviews but I have received top service by well experienced people. Thank you.

Tom did nice work on my Monti Carlo. I chose to use used parts from the salvage yard of lessor quality. He honored his warranty until we found a good motor. Even threw in a free crank sensor at no charge .Good honest quality mechanic highly recommendable

I live in the neighborhood. Big Tom and Ahmeel are always fair and help you out, especially if you're in a jam. I trust these guys with all my vehicles. I e never had an issue these guys couldn't fix. My Suburban is a 2000 and has over 500,000 miles on it. Part of the reason is these guys. Please support ALL or local businesses. We need them like they depend on us.

Tom is very knowledgeable and cares about helping,replacement of a waterpump,and not high on price

Needed an emissions test ASAP, got their name from someone else. Got my test done in no more than 20 minutes. Exactly what I needed, very glad I listened when they were recommended

Great group of professionals! They were thorough with their explanation of the work that needed to be done an had the vehicle completed in a timely manner and even offered me a ride to and from the shop while the work was being completed! Tom was even willing to work within my budget (within reason). Understandably going to a mechanic is about as cringing as going to the dentist , but I must say Tom and the team made the extraction of cash from my wallet a little less painless!

I only needed an oil change, but they did a great job by being fast and friendly. Their price was even cheaper than nearby competition. I’ll keep using them for all car maintenance or upkeep.
