Charm me Sweet Candy Store

My daughter received gift cards to this shop on her birthday and we are so happy that she did. This was our first visit and we absolutely love this little shop. The variety of candy is very impressive, the prices are incredibly affordable, and Brittany was very patient, kind, informative and sweet to my little girl. We will definitely be back and recommend you shop here. We give them ALL the stars.

Mannn, I've been avoiding this place bc my sweet tooth has been crazy lately, but fate brought us together today! I picked up an order from Katyusa in The Loop on Delmar and this just so happened to be the drop off spot 🤣🫣...I met Brittany who let let me know the store has been in business for 6 years and she was in the middle of giving a history lesson about candy from the 90's!! This place literally has everything and I gave in lhhbvs..I'm definitely going back simply off of her energy and I need chocolate 🍫!! Thank you sooo much

Brittney, one of the owners of the place, is phenomenal. My husband used to work at the shop across the street so I would spend an hr or so some days just hanging out over there. Her choices for the candy go as far back as she can get them and she is extremely knowledgeable about which candies have gone out of business and are no longer being sold

I love this place! A huge selection of candies old and new. The store is really cute, and the owner, Brittany, makes you feel so welcomed. Will definitely be back--often!

If you're looking for a nostalgic trip down memory lane, look no further! The owner is so sweet (pun intended) and eager to help. The selection is like nowhere I've ever been. My girls were in heaven and anxious to go back to try more candy they've never seen anywhere else!

I decided to take my daughter to Charm Me Sweet today 10/27 on a daddy- daughter outing. i met up with my brother b in law and his 2 kids there. First off the store is a great little candy store. it's exactly what I was hoping for in a candy store, and broughtbme back to a simpler time as a kid when candy stores were plentiful and amazing.

I could right an entire other 5 star review about the staff who were absolutely AMAZING. They were engaging, friendly, fun, and truly seemed to be just as excited to be there as the 5 of us were. They even let me try a lavender "pallet cleaner candy" which was unique. *insert soap bubble* lol.

Long story short the store was clean, excellently staffed, and most of all...fun. I will definitely be back. I'm getting 3 bounces next time. lol

Absolutely adorable neighborhood candy store. The owner is so friendly and full of surprises! There are activities all of the time, and she'll even make Goodie bags for birthday parties! They have treats for every palet and a Facebook page for you to follow.

Brittney is a fantastic owner and her store is a wonderful place! I’ve been coming here since it opened! She always has a wide range of candy including allergy free, Japanese, Mexican, and freeze dried!

My son is severely allergic to peanuts, but they have an entire wall dedicated to peanut free and tree nut free candy (see my pictures). They have the Canadian Nestle candy bars that are peanut free like Kit Kats, Mars bars, Malteres, which are malt balls, and Caramac which is a Carmel candy bar. Plus all the other peanut free candy like Tootsie rolls, sixlets, airheads and tons more!! The young lady working, who I am assuming is the owner, was very helpful and friendly! We will definitely be visiting again soon to stock up on safe candy. This place is a lot closer than visiting Canada!! We will be telling our friends who have kids with peanut allergies, too! They obviously have a lot of other candy, too!!

These are non- traditional flavor KitKats! regular candy and chocolate bars, old fashioned treats, your favorite childhood sweets and strange new delites to try.... This place has a little something for everyone!!!

Great local candy shop with charming service.

This place is such a little gem. Went in for candy from the 1930s for my grandpa and the owner breezed through the store filling my basket with goodies. Perfectly pleasant experience 🙂

The owner was super friendly. There were lots of candy choices. The nostalgic candies brought back great childhood memories. As an out of towner, I highly recommend a visit to this candy store.

I read the reviews online and brought a friend from Germany to the store yesterday. The experience was phenomenal!! The owner allowed her to try some candy, gave her a few on the house, and answered all of her questions. It was worth the drive from Illinois. After we left, Maike said, "I hope we have time to go back before I return home."

This hidden gem in the neighborhood is a great place to find nostalgic penny candy and international candy, and the selection is outrageous.
Candy from all generations like your mother, grandparents use to get you or you bought from the dime stores.
Cold soda, mystery bags, penny candies, stickers enamel pins too.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Don’t sleep on this charming gem of a neighborhood candy shop. Brittany is so knowledgeable about the products, and just a delightful person to talk to. It’s excellent fun to browse the well-curated sweets, from nostalgic favorites to rare finds.

We weren’t sure what we wanted but got awesome recommendations from Brittany. When we got home, every bite was magical.

Brittany, the owner, is so kind and upbeat and is great with her kiddo customers. She's always got a great holiday selection (for every holiday) and puts on events for the whole community to enjoy including interesting guests. We're so lucky to have this shop in our neighborhood!
