I started a layaway plan with them in November of last year. I put a decent amount down for the item but due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to visit the store again until today. Not only did the staff stay true to their word but they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Very knowledgeable on their merchandise as well. This is the BEST pawn shop I’ve been to, as far as service and pricing goes. Granted, I didn’t pawn anything so I have no idea what that experience is like. But, I did come into the shop looking to upgrade to a newer MacBook. My husband came with me (he does IT), and the guys at People’s pawn really knew their stuff! They were super friendly and smart! They even negotiated a FANTASTIC deal on a MacBook with me. I am one happy customer. The guys at People’s pawn are simply fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by.

Peoples pawn is hands down the best pawn shop in all of Columbia. The staff are very knowledgeable and fair. They are all straight to the point and no " sugar coating" in sight.
They have the absolute lowest rates I've ever seen...borrow 500? Pay back 550!!... who else does that this day and age?
I have been in their shop numerous times and have had a pleasant experience every single time!

my very first experience at people's pawn shop was great! The staff greeted me with a smile and helped immediately. They were very knowledgeable and definitely hooked me up with a great price for my items! I drive from Charlotte to this pawn shop anytime I buy a new gun or new jewelry. I will never go to a different pawn shop as long as I live relatively close to Columbia. These guys are by far the best at what they do!

There is a casual atmosphere there, yet very professional. I have never had a unpleasant experience at anytime when I'm at People's Pawn.

The store is very clean and organized. When I walked in the salesman greeted me and was willing to help me find exactly what I wanted. When they didn't have it in the showcase he went in the back and pulled more for me to look at. He was friendly and patient. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. It was a great experience and now I have a beautiful set of earrings!

Hands down best pawn shop in Columbia. I have bought a several guns, TVs, and game systems. When I went to purchase a diamond ring I knew this was the place to go. The association was mind blowing. The speculation was inconceivably sharp. They in like way have high examination rate so that is major for me. The credit cost is even not difficult to miss goliath. That is the reason I recuperated my thing again when I had the money.

The tolerant experts are astonishing. They are better than average and kind. They truly care for their customers. They even gave me a ton. I genuinely respect that.
