Dollar General

This DG is one of the best I have been to - and I was pleasantly surprised. I went there twice in one day and they had what I wanted both times. The store is laid out nicely, the isles are not cluttered like my local stores, and the workers are friendly and helpful. And to make things better the store was clean. CUDOS!

This is wonderful store located in an area scare of stores to shop at. Friendly helpful staff , lots of deals and spacious parking. Yes this has become one of my favorite locations for this chain . In an area of food deserts and a location other businesses seem to stay clear of they are an oasis. A lower north side treasure found right down 22 and central

Chrystal M., the cashier makes coming to this Dollar General special. Although she doesn't know my name, I visit the store 2-3 times per week, she ALWAYS greets me, "Hello, my friend."
I watch as she greets every customer in a personable manner. Good customer service skills are not a common practice. She is an exemplary employee who should be compensated for what she adds to Dollar General.
When reading up online, overall, Dollar General's reputation of their treatment of employees is not the greatest; which in turn affects how the cashiers treat customers.
A lot of credit for employee friendliness should also go to the store manager, Mr. Jeff. He works long hours, with broken cash registers that corporate refuses to fix in a timely manner. (I've seen these registers inoperable for MONTHS!) There have been times when customers have been wrapped around aisles. But, Crystal and Mr. Jeff consistently show patience and greet us with a smile.

Its getting better the two main cashiers if you shop there then you know them. They get you in and out. You never see them doing nothing if no customers then putting up backstock or overflow.

Big Store, Lots of items from household to clothes and always seasonal stuff. Right now is Halloween and Fall stuff to pickup on in the store. By the way, they have a grocery section in store also for quick items for stuff you may have forgotten at the regular grocery check out. Stop by and see the store.

I went for paper towels and spent $20. They have almost everything I use on a daily basis and at super affordable prices. I don't think I've only spent $1 because there is always something else I could use.

I love this store always have gone to this location. The Manager is super, and the cashier Crystal goes above and beyond. They had some FANTASTIC sales today

Staff friendly and accessible. Know there product and it's location ready to assist me. I like going to shop here where it is quick easy and inexpensive .

The 3d one I visited at 3827 N. College Ave, 46205 was GREAT!!! They stocked the main item I wanted, and the 2d day on the job employee was very helpful.

I like most of the Dollar Generals in the city of Indianapolis but quite a few of them are out of stock on stuff Martin Luther King and east side or out of a lot of products a lot of the time so either they sell a lot of it or somebody does not order near enough product example popsicles painting supplies motor oil

Ran in for just one item. Cashier was very pleasant and pointed me in the direction of my need. In and out in a jiffy.

Clean store, I found everything in place that I needed, the cashier was nice and got me through the line pretty fast so all around it was good service

This place has a helpful staff and they are friendly. The manager is a very nice and helpful man.

Great place to shop. The older Lady works there is so helpful and kind . And knowns where all the things are.

They were ok not really organized kind of empty but casher he was nice

Dollar General the good place when you're done cleaning up something or just getting a bunch of knickknacks but sometimes I over pack the store
